Your weapons are not disappearing... They won't become useless, they just won't be viable in certain end game activities... Which is reasonable, there's literally hundreds upon hundreds of different weapons and armour sets... It's getting a bit crazy lol, they could even get rid of some weapons and sets (the least used, obviously) and I wouldn't care and I've played since 2014. They're going back to their model for how destiny 1 used to have their weapons and armour set up, but not as restrictive at all. We will still have our erentils and spare rations and all of our goodies to use in pvp and other activities, just not exactly certain endgame stuff. At least that's what I'm getting from their twab... Seeing the amount of complaints was a bit confusing lol, but I do understand people being upset by this... I'd like to be able to use all my stuff for everything no matter what too, I'm just trying to look at it objectively.

Sorry, but I dont understand your logic? Why did you farm your god rolls? For not using them in trials or who the hell knows which pve activity? Your argument is bad as hell mate. They can do it, but if they remove powerlevel from "pvp endgame". And why the fck they need to sunset armor?

I mean, people can both read and not like what's coming. I certainly don't aspire to create sets of gear to clear Playlist Strikes quicker

2 RespuestasLoad d1 pick up a year 1 pre ttk weapon and run a normal strike . Then you’ll understand why the players who have been here 5 years are quiting over this the twab was a big bowl of bull crap feed to player who only fan boy. And don’t think for them self’s

4 RespuestasIt is crazy. Its like people think bungie is incapabale or rolling out this change without thinking it through. I wonder why.

Not being viable in endgame is essentially making the weapon useless. It’s basically makes it so that you can’t use the weapons in anything that really matters. Trials? Nope. IB? Nope. Higher level Nightfalls? Nope (...etc) Not to mention that it makes grinding activities for god rolls utter pointless. Why bother running an activity for potentially months on end only to not be able use the weapon in any of the meaningful content in the game.

I can’t use them in heroic strikes. Those have LL ties to them. Nightfalls either. Or gambit because there’s LL aspect in that. And pretty sure destinations don’t as well. Basically if you want to use old gear you spent months grinding to get, you can only use it in not relevant content excluding Most of crucible. And armor. It wasn’t easy getting the mats to masterwork let alone rolls I wanted for stats. And now bye bye I have to do it all over again. -

Objectively this isn’t bad at all.

People love to whine and complain.

1 RespuestaYou know, almost no one has commented on what I thought was the highlight of the TWAB: the new focused engram system for seasonal gear. I think this also has the potential to replace the daily/weekly bounty system (or at the very least, augment it) as well as possibly addressing vendor refresh.

Editado por Wraith: 5/16/2020 4:36:10 AMDude you realize that the two biggest pvp activities (iron banner/trials) are both light level enabled right? So basically all the guns are completely useless unless you want to use and get comfortable with a gun you’ll never use in anything important. So basically useless. But wait it gets better, you can re enquire the guns you already have by doing new mindless grinding for many hours to get the Same roll you already have so you can use it for 3 months then do it again. You seriously can’t see the problem here?

11 RespuestasNot being viable in end game activities is a useless weapon.

9 RespuestasIf they can't be useful in late-game content where LL matters, then it defeats the purpose. There are good, fun, constructive ways to make players use a wider variety of gear. Sunsetting just comes off as lazy. How about new raid gear that has raid-specific perks? How about PvP gear that has Crucible bonuses baked in? How about armor that has more utility in whatever seasonal horde mode is released without having to juggle mods? The worst thing is having to grind for the exact same gear you've already found before. Again. All because of an arbitrary sunsetting system. It's bad design, and bad design should ALWAYS warrant complaints.

If I spent time grinding for a weapon or gear ingame that took longer than thirty minutes to get one of it despite it's stats or attributes i expect it to be viable in whatever activities I want to use it in and not just get restricted to staying in legacy content. I can log in to destiny 1 pull out my Hawksaw or my trifecta and still put up a fight in both nightfalls and in PvP. I can log it into Warframe pull out the starting pistol (Lato) and do sorties and Sanctuary onslaughts). I can log on Black desert and run a Liverto Longsword and fight the World bosses. I can log on to the Division 2 and use my Lullaby in the dark zone. Do you get the picture yet?

If I don't have to see another Ten Paces again I'll be a happy Warlock lol
-
38 RespuestasOh that's ok then. Except ALL NIGHTFALLS, ALL IRON BANNER, ALL GAMBIT, ALL RAIDS, ALL TRIALS, ALL QUESTS, ALL LEVELLING UP ACTIVITY amongst others is done, finished, over with for those weapons. So before complaining others can't read, first understand that it catastrophically affects core endgame activities that were amongst the most enjoyed content the franchise ever offered.
-
So the weapons will be made useless in endgame but we can earn the same weapons by grinding if they decide to bring them back
-
1 RespuestaYou'll still be able to use them in all content anyway. After a season, a weapon that's been retired will be about 10-20 power behind cap, so it'll bring your overall power down by 1-2. Really not worth getting annoyed about.

13 RespuestasEditado por GallowsPole: 5/15/2020 5:17:09 PMAbsolutely right. The gear isnt disappearing. It’s worse than that. They’re going to be rotated out just like the activities disappearing from the game in these so called “seasons”. The in game currency was always meant to be used to have players exhaust it and spend money on silver. If your enjoyment only comes from bosses with more hitpoints and stomping mechanics, with stale gear, have fun!

Wow dude, just wow. Are you shopping for a truck I can give you a good deal?
-
3 RespuestasThey’ll be useless in new seasonal content and nightfall ordeals. And that kinda sucks And they act like this will get people to use other things. When in reality, we’ll just find the same weapon archetype with the same/similar perks. Aside from a new perk, nothing new will be brought to the table. This is just being used to kill pinnacles and reset “power creep”
-
2 RespuestasYa, I'm so glad I can still use all my favorite weapons in Patrol. 🙄

this is the wrong forum to expect logical, well thought out, coherent posts. you must be overly melodramatic about rumors, as if they were fact, and effect your real life around here.
