It hasn't gotten boring for me. I have never chased meta's or so-called god rolls. Being a Halo player, I play Destiny as a shooter. Anything I get are just rewards. I am still having fun playing the game and will continue to keep on play for a while.

The lack of a complete and fulfilling story mode is what's getting dull. All the lore behind destiny is really good but I feel like we're the filler part of a really bad anime.... You know all the cool shit either happened before any of our guardians arrived or its... Next season!!!! Double the action!!! (Explosion noise's) Triple the excitement!!!!(get down!!) (More explosion noise's!!!) More excitement!!!!(get down again!!!) Bungies continued use of we didn't intend for this?, well you must of for these problems in the game to be there in the first place? And then trying to hype a community with fixes to the core game? that's a year to late? But then it's still not coming till what season 14???? That's what gets dull the fact that we're in the second game and I know less about what's actually happening now than I did in D1.

Look who’s been running it. Need I say more? Didn’t think so.

1 RespuestaI havent played a week now, and probably wont come back till Season 12. This season is just too bad for real, last one was already dead and this one even worse.

8 RespuestasIt's called burnout, and it can be caused by too much of anything.

Editado por Ghostfire239: 5/12/2020 9:40:35 PMAt first I thought it was just me getting burnt-out but after taking a break for about 5 months I still feel like the game is just meh. I used to absolutely love Destiny and after forsaken I really liked D2 as well but now...there’s just nothing interesting to do.

Getting? Hmmm...

-
It feels like they haven't put much content out in the current year of destiny.
-
Their handling of the IP is getting dull, but theres a ton of potential within that isn't being utilized
-
Yes it is but I’m hopeful that bungie (once again) has learned that drip feeding in the seasonal model is not fun. I’m really hoping they nail the next major expansion in the fall. I have a huge backlog (like 50) of games that I haven’t touched because destiny is the only game I want to play. The darkness is coming. I heard something about darkness based subclasses. Then I heard they are doing away with it. I hope the latter is false.

4 RespuestasTo start off, I'm a "New Light" player.... What I'm seeing, mechanics of game are fun, but seriously here are my gripes already(read first line again!) 1)Load Times Suck Nuts 2) Starting off was good...Hit the TOWER and WTF man!? Have 53/63 quests light up my stupid book/log thing within a couple of hours trying to find gear... 3)No real direction when doing this...A lot/to many "puzzles" IMO.... 4)Waaaaaayyyyy to many bounties, and not enough slots to carry them. I only take ones for my weapons/skills I use...Try to stack all of them, but , again, you only get 11....so you spend way to much eff'n time running around instead of killing mobs.. 5)Getting to LL950 was easy.....but now everything is pure crap for drops....HTF can a "new light" go up if they can't find gear to use.... 6)Season event is a joke.....Titans winning by such a big margin.... 7)Why do a lot of the Vendors sell only LL750 gear??? It's junk once you pass that level....why isn't it selling at the level I'm at now?? 8)Way to many try hards/jerks/aholes in game.... 9)Way to many, NO MIC needed, dgaf if your new...just follow us or plain just kick you out of group 10)Why does every group think they need to speed run every task? HTF are new players supposed to learn when aholes jump on the cycle and speed clear through to the boss, kill, it and leave?? I could add a ton more...but you get the idea..... I'm almost bored already/pissed off....spent money on full game/dlc's and it's turning out to be a big POS!

2 RespuestasI enjoy the chase, so long as there's something to chase. When I've gotten everything I want then it will be tough to log in an play. I here all these others say go back to D1 its so great when compared, and I think to myself, uh no I destroyed that game and nostalgia is not enough to go back. Yeah Fatebringer is the King but move on already.
-
ummm when you dont have any new innovations, you keep copy and pasting events, items etc we already had. Then yes the experience will be very dull. also the fact that they have gotten feedback for what seems like 10 years and have done nothing with it.

Getting?

Love destiny but yea same way I felt once I got to the end of halo reach played halo 123 reach was ready for something different Destiny came about. Know I feel like I did back in the halo days waiting to see another evolution.

Editado por Optimus_immortel: 5/12/2020 7:43:59 AMWell yes because destiny hasn't grown at all in terms of any kind of threats. Enemy races haven't evolved and we haven't had enough new additions to the game. New supers, new weapon perks or archetypes. The exotics are so underwhelming. New areas to explore. Forsaken felt so good just because of the mystery of the scorn and the dreaming city was phenomenal.

2 RespuestasEditado por SirEman80: 5/11/2020 9:34:20 PMMy general opinion... I really don’t like being salty but... salty me wants to say not nearly as dull as the constant and repetitive $&@%*ing and moaning on the forums from people who admittedly don’t play the game anymore and haven’t in awhile. That’s like saying Disneyworld sucks even though you haven’t been since 1985. If you eat the same spaghetti every day for five i you years you are going to think it’s dull after awhile... it could be strike flavored spaghetti or gambit flavored spaghetti or crucible flavored spaghetti but it’s still spaghetti in the end and you’ve had some flavor of spaghetti 14,605,000 times over the course of that five years. People are chasing that ‘new’ feeling... which is why they are always comparing destiny to whatever ‘new’ game they are playing now and saying destiny sucks because they’ve done it all before 100,000 times... except they complain about sun-setting which will cause them to chase ‘new’ guns. They want that ‘new’ feeling but don’t experiment with perks or mods and only ever use damage perk/outlaw weapons from 4-5 seasons ago... The question I have for the people always complaining about how destiny isn’t like _______ is what other game have you played off and on over 5 years like destiny? Compare destiny to that game... otherwise you’re comparing apples to parachutes.

Yup and you still have at least 2 more years of boring unrewarding grind with a half assed boring disjointed story. Have fun wasting your money.

Editado por Docyx13: 5/12/2020 3:29:06 PMSo i was thinking about this and kind of came to a few pretty basic reasons and it's both player fault and Bungie's fault. A) On the player side, i think there are far too many people who burn themselves out. They play D2 exclusively or near exclusively and wonder where the content is. People need to learn to take a break and pick up something else. B) Bungie. Oh Bungie. Two things. 1: over-reliance on bounties. Everything is a bounty. Just so painful. Daily bounties. Weekly bounties. Event bounties. Even some main quests are little more than bounties. So far this season we've gotten like 5% story and 95% bounties. The story really has been hurry up and wait for Almighty and hurry up and wait for Pyramids. So much just do bounties in anticipation of the promise of something happening while waiting through months of NOTHING happening. It's rough and dull. But i think Bungie understands this because the TWAB outlined the displeasure with how reliant the game is on bounties and they've mentioned they're going to work on story delivery, so enough beating a dead horse. 2: I would argue this one is much bigger: seasonal pass model, and specifically the "Battle Pass". I know no developer wants players to take a break from their game (time is money after all). The problem with the current model is it discourages players to take a break. If you want things in the pass you have to burn yourself out. Burned out players aren't going to want to play in the future which is super counter productive. I would argue a simple solution would be to have battle passes that don't expire. Essentially you buy it and complete it over time. There is no downside. Hardcore players probably own it with the deluxe expansion. People who play consistently will buy day one so they're always contributing to progression. People who take a break and miss a season will buy a season later (as opposed to missing out on that money entirely). While this eliminates some of the funding from tier purchases, I'm willing to hedge my bets that after the fact revenue would mainly make it up longer term.

5 RespuestasIt's definitely dull and boring. Once you play other games you realize that the things you thought were good about this game are actually far behind what other developers are putting out. The music and sounds aren't that great now compared to other games. The NPCs are terrible compared to other games. The enemy AI is terrible compared to other games. The way the story is told is terrible compared to other games. The mechanics are unimaginative compared to other games. The missions are boring compared to other games. The dialogue is terrible compared to other games. The weapons are bland now compared to other games. The interface is bad and annoying compared to other games. The main thing, collecting items, is annoying and boring now.
