Yes, I know bounties are not exactly everyone’s favorite thing right now but many of us don’t have the friends or time to try and get a fire team together to jump into 1030 or Grandmaster Nightfalls (or the skill to go flawless in Trials). So, can we please get a weekly Quest that allows solo players to get a guaranteed Ascendant Shard? It can be one per week per account so I’m not asking for too much. And you can make it decently grindy (kill 250 adds with Solar, 250 with Arc, and 250 with Void... or something else, I don’t know). At best, we could get one Shard a week without having to look for a competent fire team or be dragged into the sweat-fest that is Trials. Please!
Edit 1: The fact that people find it necessary to argue against something that would not affect the game state in any negative way possible while helping so many people shows you just how toxic and me-centric this community is! Y’all are seriously ridiculous.
Edit 2: For those of you concerned that my suggestion would disincentivize players from doing the Ordeal Nightfalls (a premise I don’t accept), here’s a way to appease everyone: Have the pursuit entail a bunch of planetary grind (example: collect a crap ton of planetary materials, do X-amount of public events, do x-amount of patrols, do x-amount of lost sectors, etc.). That way, it’s still more efficient to do the Nightfalls and still allows solo players a chance to earn a single shard once a week. Nobody loses and everyone wins.

Editado por GrandBahookii: 5/12/2020 3:24:54 AMIf you could have a shard drop 100% from the GM nightfall I think that would be fair along with increasing activities you could earn it from. Might not get it to drop all the time let's say from other pinnacle level activities like raids, pit of heresy (future dungeons), master nightmare hunts (what ever replaces them in the future) etc. I respectfully disagree with your suggestion as a bounty (it's not a bad idea trust me I thought the same when it was first introduced back when they came into the game). I do like the idea of doing a certain amount of activities to have one earned. Rewarding players for their time feels like a must as long as it's not only meaningful to the time put in, but also acceptable to the level of the reward for doing that activity.

1 RespuestaI think this would be fair. Maybe something like completing all your crucible, vanguard and gambit milestones each week would award one and would help populate all those playlists.

4 RespuestasYeah, NF's scoring was put in place to stop people from wanting to solo them. I agree, there should be more weekly sources for upgrade materials. PVP and PVE. Last part of your post... welcome to the forums 95% are hunters trying to get stuff nerfed and downvoted everything that isn't the nerf they want.

4 RespuestasBanshee already sells shards for casual players.

7 RespuestasOk, so you want a weekly quest that guarantees an ascendant shard. You get 3 ascendant shards from the season pass. You can get ascendant shards from banshee for mats and enhancement prisms. You can also buy enhancement prisms from banshee. You can get ascendant shards by grinding lower NF difficulty for prisms, as well as the pit, for prisms to turn into shards. You stated you were 35, but are complaining like a young adult using the defense “it won’t affect the game negatively”. Actually, it will. The rest of us go into the nightfalls of higher difficulty (which you are strong enough to do) to EFFICIENTLY grind masterwork materials such as ascendant shards. Ascendant shards are endgame materials, so they are in endgame activities. You cheapen the game and the work of others because you want a quick easy route. It would be much faster for you to run a single master NF and get a shard than to complete a long bounty for the same. Either use LFG to find a team and grind, or choose one of the many other routes multiple people have suggested for a casual player. If you don’t WANT to, that’s on you, and is not indicative of a need for bungie to change.

5 RespuestasEditado por Sarah Rose: 5/8/2020 10:27:09 AMYour power level is good enough to run Master Nightfalls. In fact, it's good enough to where you can play them aggressively. They aren't hard at all. If you have time to get 250 kills with each element, then you have time to use the fireteam app for all of 2 minutes and get Master NF runs going. If it takes more than 15-20 minutes then you have a bad team, and yes, that's without a mic.

4 RespuestasEditado por Swiftlock: 5/9/2020 1:14:50 AMWhat would be the point of Master Ordeals if the game is handing out Ascendant Shards every week just for playing the game normally? This DOES negatively affect the experience by defeating the purpose of a major endgame activity. Besides, there's already an avenue to get shards solo - Banshee + Season Pass Rewards.

Use banshee

5 RespuestasThere is a way for solo players to get shards in the game now. Its grindy but its there. You can do Ordeal on Hero get prisms then buy a shard from Banshee. Its not an effective way but its there.
-
5 RespuestasThat’s unnecessary. Use the D2 Companion app to get a team just post “NO MIC.”

6 RespuestasTakes 5 min to get a team for the ordeal. If you don’t have time for that, how are you going to have time for a bounty. You could also do the matchmade ordeal and get the materials needed to buy a shard.
