Cara looks at Blaze with a mixture of shock and questioning. She is left almost speechless. “Good heavens!”

-
“What? It’s a nice place!”
-
She wrinkles her nose doubtfully. “In the eye o’ the beholder, I suppose.”
-
“Nah, hell isnt nice, but he has a very nice mansion inside of it. There’s a garden, a massive library.....”
-
She perks up with interest at the mention of a library. “Do ye read much?” Whether her eagerness to respond was because of a love of books or to change the subject is difficult to tell.
-
“I mean, if I can get my hands on it then yes.”
-
“Is it difficult ta come across books, then? I would have imagined that outside of this place it would be easy.”
-
“I haven’t checked much in Offtopic, but out while planet hunting? Rare to find one.”
-
Cara tilts her head slightly. When she first met him she took him to simply be a wanderer, though if everything he said was true, was he far more than that? “Battles, destroyed ships, palaces below, an’ huntin’ planets,” she lists, “yer all o’er the place, aren’t ye?”
-
Shoot, that was meant to be planet hopping
“I was, but then I just started staying in Offtopic. Though, destroying ships and hell all happened here.”
-
Oh, whoops. Lol, almost the same thing.
Cara shakes her head. “I don’ think I’ll ever be able ta understand ye and yer adventures fully, Blaze.”
-
“Hm. Now that I y’all about it, it is kinda hard to understand. My first adventure here was in a giant plant.”
-
“A giant plant?”
-
“Yup. Reason I made my grappling hook. Humpty Dumpty has a large fall.”
-
“I take it his hasn’t been the first time ye broke somethin’,” She assumes with a smile.
-
“Heh. I broke a lot of bones, then someone I consider a friend saved me.” Blaze then starts glaring at a normal plant.
-
Cara follows his gaze. She wasn’t going try and guess what was on his mind, but she couldn’t help but wonder. “Are they still yer friend?”
-
“I think so. That gray dude hasn’t returned my calls....”
-
“If he’s anythin’ like ye, he’s probably runnin’ into trouble,” she jests.
-
“I think he at least did something others.... don’t like.... I can’t say much more other then that.”
-
“Ah, I see. Well, ye will always have a friend here, as long as from now on ye say goodbye before ye go.”
-
“Well, that’s reassuring.”
-
On the other side of the room, there is a shout for a refill. Cara straightens and hops off the stool. “I should get back ta work. Was good seein’ ye again. Be merciful ta tha’ leg o’ yers.”
-
“I will. I’m thinking of making a nice walking stick. Thanks for talking to me.”
-
Cara grins. “Of course. Goodbye, an’ may the wind always be at yer back.”
Thanks for participating in both of these RPs. This one went on longer than I had anticipated, so I hope it didn’t feel like it dragged on. Though I kinda enjoyed how laid-back it was, lol.
