1 RespuestaOr they could just hand over/sell the IP to a different company that actually gives a shīt

1 RespuestaI don't know man. Luke Smith is kinda hot ngl. I would really miss the eye candy. I bet he's packing BIG time.
-
49 RespuestasIdk why luke smith is so hated. Like it or not, nearly everything people love about destiny was luke smith.
-
1 RespuestaLots of people here have never worked on a project with a team.

6 RespuestasI would even take Carol Baskins at this point! LOL

9 RespuestasIt’s easy to point the finger at the Game Director and say “be gone” Realistically, I believe the direction to take the franchise down a FOMO rabbit hole, dictate to players how end game content was to be played, and reshape the franchise into a WoW/Fortnite hybrid was a group decision. The individual you mention in the title is accountable as well. The only true solution is to clean house in its entirety. Send the entire SR Management Team packing. Bring in an entirely new squad of young, smart, hungry individuals and start D3 as a continuation of D1. We all pretend D2 never happened and those who subscribed to this misguided vision are removed from future decision making. #makebungiegreatagain
-
5 RespuestasI disagree. Replace everyone on the creative team with people from outside the company. The current team is either burned out on the franchise, or not creative enough. The franchise needs fresh people that have new ideas.

1 RespuestaThought you said Syd Barrett
-
4 RespuestasI can't wait - Chris is now director of D3 - game comes out and is very poorly received Destiny Forums: Fire Chris Barrett! He ruined this game!! Me: 🙃 yOu GoT wHaT yOu WaNtEd

3 RespuestasYou will find things to complain about still. That will not change with a change of personnel. Quite frankly to think that you can make better business decisions for an entire game developer is laughably egotistical. It is never one person dictation, it is always a team effort and input into the product.
-
5 RespuestasThere comes a point when you have to swallow your pride and do what’s best for the greater good. It’s become obvious with each dlc that Luke’s vision for Destiny and ultimately his leadership is not up to par with industry standards and it’s leaders.
-
2 RespuestasWhomever was directing the game during Destiny 1 Year 3, is the person I would want running things.
-
10 Respuestascheck christ barretts profile and comes up as games director .
-
Please let massive entertainment take over
-
Or just remove L.S. and let a 3 years old do the decision making. Or a dog just randomly choose stuff to put in the game. It's would be 50% better than Luke's decision making.

2 RespuestasEditado por Shadowjack: 4/22/2020 10:03:03 PMI honestly can't remember what Barrett did that makes him the guy that people constantly think will save Destiny. Didn't he run the live team during the period between Taken King and Rise of Iron? That's all I really remember. And the thing you've got to remember is that one person never makes all the decisions that make a game turn out as it does. You could end up with ANYONE directing this game and if you don't change the higher ups who make the biggest decisions, you still end with a mess.

8 RespuestasI'm not sure that that is enough. I know we are blaming the cook for the dish so to speak but now we're recommending someone else? I've honestly never read up on either and would like to at least discuss that.

4 RespuestasAt this point anyone or even a potato would be better Suited🤣🤣🤣
-
It’s pretty simple what’s going on and why it isn’t changing. He’s making them money without really putting out decent content. That’s the only way I can wrap my mind around it.
-
I remember when Barrett was giving game updates and actually communicating with community don’t understand why that stopped but it actually helped players understand and communicate better with bungie

What About Joe Staten?
