Don't listen to anyone that says it just nostalgia. A lot of the content whether it was a lot or not was better created in the first destiny. The replayable content is what this game is missing with a lot of the activities that the first destiny had.
Overall, it all comes down to who is directing the game and the devs creating the content, and it doesn't matter if it's a lot of content or not much at all.

Except it is. I get lots of things D1 did better. Court of Oryx for example. But Destiny 2 is also very much better than D1 in many ways. There is a lot of nostalgia involved with Destiny 1.

Not as some try to use it to base their entire argument. Both games have the ups and downs about it, but the way I'm looking at things is the first destiny was more consistent. This one is all over the place because of way too many changes that took place. It's year three and the game is not in a good place compared to the first destiny in year three.
