Your game i solely catered to 16 hour day hardcore players which is a huge mistake. I have 26 people on my friends list which i met through destiny and only 4 still play because of the direction this game took. Its catered to streamers and little kids. The working 40 hour plus gamer never has chance to ever attempt a 1050 nightfall because they dont have time grind. Maybe this what you want but you are actively driving people away from your game. I dont know how long your game can survive only catering to streamers. BTW streamers will go to other games if they feel they're not getting enough views. Cater to your fans instead of streamers!!

21 RespuestasBe prepared for all the "I work 80hours a week, have 6 kids, a wife, 2 girlfriends on the side, do all the house chores and cooking, regularly frequent the country club, and still have time to 100% the game" bullshitters. 😂 That's what you all sound like.

10 RespuestasEditado por Smough: 4/15/2020 11:21:13 PMPeople who still think that this game only caters to streamers are delusional. Nothing in this game requires you to play for 16 hours every day. Nothing. You don’t even need to play for more than a few hours a day to get everything done in a season. It might take you longer to get max rank and a high light than someone who has more time, but considering you have ~3 months every season that’s not really an issue. Currently destiny caters to the f2p players who spend hundreds if not thousands on eververse.

I have plenty of time per day to play destiny and I STILL don't have time for the bounty grind fest
-
Been working all throughout this quarantine and I know I'd have time to hit the 1025 max for GM Nightfalls Just don't ask me if I had the will to grind that much this season

2 RespuestasI think a balance needs to be found to gain the biggest audience. Something it seesm they are trying to do with new added difficulties. The key problem is if you are casual you end up playing solo more often then not. The balance of most everything is not solo friendly without having to bust your ass. They need to find that sweet spot between soloable activities and increased difficulties for hardcore players.

2 RespuestasProblem is this season is awful and no incentive to grind for useless weapons compared to what we already have. How many would really main any of these over it’s older and better counterparts? Maybe for an hour and then it’s back to favourites. It’s why this game desperately needs a shake up. Retiring weapons is not what I would want but objectively it has to be done.

There is no special Hollywood party when one achieves all the triumphs. One can’t add all their Destiny accomplishments on their resume and get that dream position.

Hey if you have a 40+ hour job, good for you. You've taken responsibility in you're life. But every game dose cater twords a specific group, just like Movies,Sports,Music,Books ect. It's called life.

2 Respuestas
Typical player doesn’t have time for this game
But this game isn’t made for the typical player any more. Bungie has been making Destiny for the Streamers, and people who play video games for a living for quite sometime now.

1 RespuestaThey can't do a 1050 nightfall. Isn't that the whole reason there's 2 other nightfalls at lower light levels? For those who don't have tbe time to grind 16 hours a day? The statement
Your game i solely catered to 16 hour day hardcore players
Seems disengenous.

2 Respuestas“I don’t even have time to explain, why I don’t have time to explain how goddamn boring grinding power levels are” 😉

2 RespuestasAren't there four other nightfalls you can do?
-
Uh Im a casual player and it’s been fine , levered up pretty easily. I don’t do bounties or milestone stuff anymore .
-
I just stopped playing. There are a lot of great games out that don't require you to sell your soul to the devil.

Pack your job in buy a shit load of weed and profit.

4 RespuestasPlayers would devote more time to the game if it was fun. The fun factor is a bit low recently in D2.
-
As soon as they switched to the fortnite experience reward system I tried it out for 2 seasons and a week in the second season of it I dropped the game completely for borderlands 3
-
I have a pro strat: Never do bounties. It will increase your fun value.

Very true, but thats the silver lining. Think of it as the gift that just keeps giving. i have played many games where you finish it and you never play the game again, but you'll never complete this game haha. i wish i had more time to play, but i get in around 20 to 30 hours of play a week (before i got the watercress error, now i spend 20-30 hours a week here hoping for a fix). i never really know which direction ill go when i log in, and sometimes i just run around and blow sht up. i think it really comes down to the Clan, and if it is run properly (which it seems the greater majority of clans are started by kids or people who don't know how to effectively run a clan). if you are short on time, find a clan that is run extremely well, which might be a pipe dream. there you can coordinate activities, and get more done in less time.

4 RespuestasThe “smart player” don’t waste their time on this game. I was not smart. I’m correcting that

Phantasy star 2 is free on xbox and PC. Its has way more content and is grindy but, you get rewards to make the grind easier. It feels good to be showered with loot. Any loot that's useless can still be fed to your permanent floating artifact that evolves over time to heal and buff you. Raids are a couple of minutes and the mechanics are easy to figure to out once you die a few times but with 12 people with 5 revives a piece.....its not really a problem. Super fun game. Even has gunner classes which Destiny heads are seeming to enjoy.
-
3 RespuestasPut it this way.....if COD Warzone provides a greater entertainment, greater fun, more rewarding experience than Destiny.... something is very wrong. I have been here since D1 Alpha, loved the game, defended it during it's low points etc but no more.

1 RespuestaLol, so true! This game is a full-time job, I was considering putting it into my CV! 😂 And don't even think about playing anything else!
-
1 RespuestaThere presently isn’t enough content for anyone to be playing 16 hours a day.
