I was so hyped seeing the ship on first shadowkeep mission, actually made me buy the DLC, for it to be another garbage hype tool that served no purpose and was forgotten about... Im willing to bet knowing bungie when they make D3 (because this game is a lost cause and lets be honest the tower isn’t ready for the darkness if they couldn’t handle the red legion so rip the tower and our vaults again) im willing to bet that they will skip over ALL the darkness storyline in a few missions (maybe put us at the end of the pyramid ships story line (or whatever its called) when we actually start D3 Im basically saying knowing bungie they wont take advantage of this possibly amazing story and will just put us in the aftermath of these events and we will be playing post-invasion of the pyramid ships. Seems stupid but we are talking about bungie here

The reveal wont be as wild if and when we see his physical form and what the darkness did to him. Closer or not I doubt we're getting a DLC about them anytime soon(unless we're gettin Destiny 2: Collapse (pt 1.). I expect D3 vanilla to be what ppl are considering to be Destiny 2: Collapse instead of D2 year 4. %
