Balance Hardlight Already
Currently it has 100 aim assist, 100 recoil direction, 100 stability with the catalyst complete! 100 Range since the bullets have no damage fall off! With 49 in the mag and does double damage due to the spamming of walls. To which the 100 aa is also applied on ricochet rounds!

They can disable armor so easily but not a gun that is more overpowered than any piece of armor.

I can't take this community seriously when everyone's number 1 excuse is "Gah! gIt GuD, u suc lolz, stop whining and take the abuse despite this being a public forum for both criticism and praise!" Meanwhile the people saying this nonsense either don't play the game, are garbage at the game with horrid stats and not even checking my stats to back up their "git gud" claims, crutch on the thing being complained about even though they themselves complain about it or know its busted, or just being toxic for the sake of being toxic because it makes them feel better about themselves with their low self esteem and stats.

2 RespuestasAutos, in general, are fine, hard light, however, has way too much going for it, Kind of like how the one-eyed mask had way too many good things going for it, but while i was tolerant of OeM, this hardlight is STUPID levels of crutch. Hardlight needs to be balanced either by having the bounce damage nerfed or even removed, Trials on anomaly proves that shit was stupid op, its range needs to be cut or its screen shake put back on for people who do not have the catalyst

This gun will follow the pattern of all D1 most over used weapons.. getting nerfed to the grave to then be forgotten. Every low skill high reward weapon has followed this pattern before, except palindrome in the end of D1 (By far worst weapon sandbox to exist).

I play whatever weapons I like, switch it up when I want but I never touch hardlight as it just feels gross

This is being defended by the casual community. Pre-nerf Magnificent Howl weapons had a .67 TTK, decent range with Howl procs, pretty good Aim Assist but were make or break with landing those initial two crits. This was nerfed after the casual community cried about it. Can this game like..get some form of a skill floor back? The current top weapons literally reward you for mindlessly spraying them. (Hard Light Ricochet Rounds and SUROS Regime Spinning Up)

1 RespuestaIt's fine. No nerfs needed. My issue isnt that it's too good. I only use it for auto rifle bounties and I play a lot of crucible and you can counter it fine. Especially with so many lower skilled players running it thinking it will make them pvp gods. It wont. What bothers me is the style of play I see with "guardians" using the gun. Essentially crouch walking around the map. Wtf in quick play modes? Really? That's all kinds of embarrassing. I keep saying..as guardians we are reborn with paracausual space magic...sprouting fire wings and raining inferno on our enemies or summoning the void to fashion arrows to trap foes or calling on the fury of lightning from within to smash those aligned against us...and here we have guardians literally crouch walking the entire map to stay off the radar to get a few lazy gotcha kills in a control match. Really?

I can compete with Gnawing hunger at auto range (except against the catalyst), the biggest issue is range and how many times the rounds can ricochet with the damage boost. Make the ricochet just 1 wall, and only hard surfaces. Most guns have on perk that makes it exotic, hard light has three: it is actually enough that you can change the light between void, solar and arc. The range should be that of a good auto, because right now it can out gun a scout. But whatever you do, do not change the meta yet again...I'm tired of farming guns just so I can compete in PvP. I think the game is balanced now (scouts are a bit under powered at range), so I don't want to see this fixed by making a different type of gun over-powered. I think that players just want to use the type of gun the like, which suits their play style. Each season we are forced to use a specific type of gun through it being both "meta" and through the artifact's mods. Why? Just add a enhanced mod for each gun type, so the players can just to play as they want to play...that or just don't have enhanced targeting in the artifact at all.

Bonfire (Bungie) finds every way possible to make pvp worse every season. Hard light has ruined every game mode. Trials, Survival, Control, Classic Mix, all completely ruined even worse than before

Hell yeah Ill upvote this. Bungie clearly made an oversight with this weapon when they buffed Auto Rifles. Dont get me wrong, I love Hardlight but the potency on PVP of this weapon with such a low skill requirement is too far imbalanced. For example Shotguns are risk/reward whereas Snipers are a weapon rewarding thumb skill, Hand Cannons require precision etc. What is Hardlight exactly?
