Sols, it isnt about putting Gladd or streamers on pedestals (which people do, but not the point), but the fact that the very people Bungie made the content [i]for[/i]...[i][u]quit[/u][/i] and because of the content is the point. If your limited target audience is quitting, you have a serious problem and Bungie has a serious problem.

Yes this is disturbing. I’m not really against the idea of some skill matching but whatever developers are calling “SBMM” completely destroys any fun for players at the above average skill range. One match, I can move much less kill, the teams are so imbalanced, the next match I’m so bored because my team is stacked against the other so bad, we either mercy them or two quit. No sense of skill progression at all. Sols and a few other popular posters, petitioned repeatedly to have SBMM be the primary way that players match... all under the guise of “compassion” for bad or inexperienced players, just to wreck the game, quit, and blame streamers. Now Sols doesn’t play, and I quit because of the same shit, he wanted forced on the most dedicated players. At one point I had convinced myself that perhaps for everyone else to have fun who wants SBMM, my experience had to be sacrificed, subsequently causing me to quit... (which I was totally fine with)... “THAT IS” if the players like Sols, who begged for player protection And match manipulation, ACTUALLY enjoyed what they got... But they didn’t, because they never cared in the first place. They are miserable, and seek only to make everyone else miserable around them. SBMM, Was only a buzzword in a political fight for people to throw mud on both sides. The game itself, being a casualty of this stupid ass fight. It disappoints me to know end to see that he abandoned the game after helping to wreck it for me and my friends.

This is a live service game, the game is reliant on having a consistent and reliable base of players commited to the game and without that base the game dies. That's the model. If you haven't logged into Destiny for "months" yet you're still on the forums, that might not be a problem for you but that should be a screaming red flag for Bungie, because it says that even people who are invested in the game to the point where they talk about it on their own forums, are not only not playing the game but advocating that others shouldn't.

Im with you here. Fun fact bungie understands only one language and that is money. If folks are so unhappy with the current state of the game they should stop playing because doing something that makes you unhappy is insanity and also stop spending money at eververse. I personally cant even find the will to login to the game anymore, my clan all left the game and we have gotten together only a handful of times this season. Most of my clan simply said forget this trash of a game. With that said to those who enjoy im glad. As for me im pretty much done till they make some major changes.
