Several years ago I rented an apt one town over that was perfect I had no downstairs neighbors and it was smack dab in the middle of downtown and within walking distance of the factory I was working at which was great, however after living there for about 9 months my landlord moved a couple into the unit next to me and oh my God were they Curazzy with a capitol K. It started with some occasional late night loud grating techno/metal music, and shortly became accompanied with shouting and what sounded like fighting. I could hear yelling, doors being slammed, what sounded like furniture being pushed across the floor. I thought all of this was alcohol fueled but I later found out they were on meth. I finally couldn't take anymore and told my landlord I was moving out. A few nights before I moved out me and my son were taking some stuff to the dumpster across the street, and the guy who was living there pulled up in a pickup truck, and got out wearing army fatigues and carrying a machete, my hand to God im not making that up. When we made our next trip to the dumpster the girl who was living there was standing up in the window ( these were really tall windows I guess like a bay window with a ledge you can climb up on) looking down on us with a sinister grin and laughing. It flew all over me, and I laid into her telling her thanks for making it a place where my son was scared to come and spend the night, and basically that they were pieces o' shit. Surprisingly she seemed stunned and sort of hurt by it, and kind of half assed apologized, but I told her it wasnt cool at all, and I was moving because of them. That was the last interaction I had with them as I moved out 2 days later, but Jesus Christ they were bad. I live in a kind of rural part of Virginia and a lot of people tend to have the low down on everybody else and I heard later that those guys were definitely strung out on meth, that the guy had a history of mental illness, and I also heard that he had been arrested for sexually assaulting his young son, although im not sure if that was substantiated or not, but needless to say he wasnt a healthy person, and they were by far the worst neighbors I have ever had.
