Where Exactly Is Our Feedback Going??
Back in the vidoc for shadowkeep a bungie employee said this year is a two way road with listening to the community. I’ve honestly seen D2Y1 bungie style listening to the community since then.
Community: Vendor refreshes please?
Bungie: There’s only so many times we can refresh eververse a season
Community: Factions please?
Luke Smith: Can’t do it. We have to pay voice actors to bring the vendors back. Here is another eververse refresh though and she’s had zero new lines since the game released.
Community: Strike specific loot?
Bungie: We want to make Grand Master Nightfalls watchable
Community: Can we get new Iron Banner anything?
Bungie: Heres one new static rolled weapon. Maybe next year but probably not.
I just don’t get how feedback can be given so much and nothing is done by the development team.

This feels exactly like what we had in the very beginning of D2: a system of changes that no one asked for, all supporting someone else's grand vision of what they want the game to turn into. No real consideration for the community or player base, just chasing the dragon.

We will forward any feedback you have to our professional team of people who don’t give a flying F&@k. And since toilet paper is in short supply these days, we will use your feedback to wipe our Azzes after a healthy dump.

Honestly, the fact that GM Nightfalls only give you a title and a higher chance at stuff you can already earn in the much easier Master Nightfalls is just... incredible. And it gets even better when you consider they could've AT LEAST taken 1 or 2 cosmetics, out of the many DOZEN this season, and put them as rewards into the actual game. I know that isn't enough for a lot of people, but the fact that they couldn't even get themselves to do THAT is amazing.
