Is Bungie killing the game on purpose or is this actually incompetence?
How did you all fk this up this bad? Honestly. The loot system is garbage, cheating is absolutely rampant, and my god beaver. It's insanely clear the lack of work that went into this game mode. Only one I even really cared about. Oh and you didn't do anything for PVE either. On paper, you write all this out and I'd say there is either a motive to kill the game or you all are just incompetent at creating a good game. Can't tell. Please explain...

4 RespuestasI’ve logged in a couple times and either find myself not bothered enough to leave orbit - or, once in game bored after <15 thinking to myself “isnt this what I did last season” and my all time fave “so if I want to unlock this weapon , I have to get tokens, to upgrade a bunker, just to get more tokens, to upgrade its rank? Oh there’s more bunkers now... 🙃”

12 RespuestasThere's always been a tiny minority of toxic complainers on the forums saying the sky is falling at Bungie. I remember posts right after D1 day one of players convinced that Destiny won't last a year and how terrible it was. Lol. Destiny is fine. Just the same old toxic posts on the forums. Have fun.

Bungie couldn't care less about fate of destiny, its obvious they are running on skeleton crew now, while all the competence crews are transferred to focus on their new overlord's project. Gotta please the boss yo, so yeah, just enjoy what little scraps they give to destiny now, cherish it while it last and accept it's fate of impending doom. My advice is quickly round out all your clan mates and look for an alternate game to move to when the final nail to the coffin his by the next dlc.

14 RespuestasActual incompetence in game design, scratching for every ounce of latinum they can before people find out Bungie is actually talentless. Like, entirely. The games they made that everyone loved? Totally different people. The team doing things now and the people in charge? Everything shifted. They've also gotten worse with less of a leash. Why do you think they cut ties with Microsoft? Microsoft, for all of their failures, actually knew how to keep Bungie in line.

I'd say this is all on purpose. I mean, we've all seen what happened during the first year of the game and how fast we all hopped on the HypeTrain™ when Forsaken was announced. The same situation was replicated again with year 2 and Shadowkeep, and I'm sure they're just doing the same thing this year, just with more manpower focused on trying to hype it up and get more copies sold than actually making a good fall expansion. Welp, that's my 2 cents. Do with it what you will.

Well their main focus is not providing and in depth well designed game. Their main focus is the Eververse. Everything revolves around that.

I keep seeing streamers and youtubers and just random ppl in tower who still keep constantly buying stuff from the eververse with silver. Just saw a guy yesterday using that new sparrow that cost 800 (maybe it was 600 I'd have to check again) silver that's ugly as -blam!-. It's ppl like them that are truly ruining the game. Bungie will continue to do the bare minimum as long as they keep making 200+ million in microtransactions from dunces and morons buying stupid shit from the eververse with silver.

I've always, since D1, complained about the piss poor networking with legit reasons. I've always complained about how it's not okay to fix one thing, break several others, and then ignore those problems for years or good. I'm just complaining. Ya, shrugged it off on and off because all my friends would play is this game. However, what really pisses me off is when with the new season if you collect enough of their error codes they literally blame you when it's clearly their bad network design, hw, and code. Have they done anything to fix it? No! They still blame us, and then cry how hard it is to fix. They cry about expenses, but are literally bsing over them. The truth is they're lazy and incompetent. Doom Eternal had issues at launch, and did Tiago say it was us? No! He asked us to report the issues and worked with his team to resolve as many as he potentially could in the first week. Now, to be fair to him the HDR issue isn't something he can legally fix on his own for AMD users. AMD needs to do that themselves. Seriously, don't believe anything Bungie has to say. They're a greedy studio that lies to their fanbase. Ya, a company needs to make money! I get that, but the way Bungie treats their customers is unacceptable. No, I'm not being entitled. If you wanna keep tossing money at professional bsers be my guest. I uninstalled the game on every platform, and refuse to do business with such a company. Potentially we could sue them for false and misleading advertising if you think about it. Bungie lies and makes several promises they don't deliver on, and they've asked money for it. Which is technically illegal on their part. So is handing out our IPs and them literally not doing anything about people flooding us with packets. You can easily prove in court that's assisting in a federal crime considering one they literally gave them your IP which enables them to do that, and two they do nothing to ban or stop these people from doing it. Which brings us back to incompetence on their part!

1 RespuestaIts neither. They just do not have the development power to innovate and develop at a pace the seasonal schedule demands. This is why the content is so uninspired, similar, and grindy. Also so full of bugs and problems. I mean they shipped a season without access to one of the weekly rotating edz obelisks working...tell you all you need to know. Unfortunately...this is the real state of the game. Releasing uninspired untested content padding it with grind because they just dont have the manpower. This was an expected result of losing Activision deep pockets.
