So everyone complains about spare rations/ mindbenders, and bungie changes the meta.
Now y’all are complaining about the meta shift after 1 YEAR of the same stuff!

I enjoyed the spare/mindbenders 1000x more than this shit.
-
You are the minority I can assure you.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
-
Different audience is here to complain
-
Yeah and after a few days. Absolute tripe.
-
Different groups of people are going to complain about different things... common sense ain't so common anymore.
-
I didn’t see a single person that was happy about the spare rations/ benders meta
-
You just must be the all seeing all knowing then huh? By your logic, all Destiny player must praise and complain about the same exact things. And if we don't, it's a head scratcher. Lol
-
Show me a post or a group of people on here that think the spare benders meta is enjoyable.
-
See, I cant, because you're right... but that's not why I was razzing you. You're original blanket statement of the same people complaining about one thing then the other was my point. Then you got specific to make your point. Regardless, not everyone is gonna be happy with an auto meta, and expecting them to simply because Spare Bender meta was stale is ludicrous.
-
True, not everyone is going to like the auto rifle meta, but my point is that those people will complain no matter WHAT the meta is. They complain, and the second something changed, they complain about that one too.
-
Do you know what it actually is, it’s that no one will try pvp without using meta. Where as before in D1 people used what they liked because pvp was still new for destiny and at that point so was online streaming etc. but now people just find out what the meta is and use it so when you play pvp and only 2 people aren’t using meta you think it’s the weapon. This is a community issue where most gamers want to do good so use what they are told to use not what suits they play style. Which creates frustration leading to complaints. It’s also the pvp in this game is not competitive but the use of loot makes people compete to get the loot. Which is a totally different mindset. If you lose a game in CoD or OW yeah I had a loss but not bummed about it. If you lose in ToO or “comp” you’re devastated because it will now take longer to get that thing you want.

I dont think it's that the meta shifted persay, but hardlight in current state reminds me of AoS before they nerfed it twice. It does too much, and is insanely forgiving. Kind like hunter dodge >.> I went flawless yesterday using crimson and gunnoras so I'm not metad out by any means and if you know how to play around it it's fine. My problem is that it's too good to the point the only other auto I've seen used is suros. It's just annoying.
-
Umm...that’s the literal definition of the meta shifting. No different then how spare rations and Luna dominated the HCs.
-
Editado por Gravezero: 3/15/2020 5:24:54 PMI was referring that people arent upset about the fact theres a auto rifle meta, but that hardlight in specific is too meta. Autos are finally in a really good spot. Hardlight is just nuts. Even when lunas was dominant you could still outplay ome with a well rolled service revolver. Hardlight as it is stat/perk wise on paper is difficult to counter. It just comes down to skill.

Editado por Disciple4Christ4: 3/15/2020 4:50:32 PMGnawing hunger, Monte Carlo, and sweet business are also all very good. But I went flawless multiple times using chaperone, NF. I saw the best players using spare menders at usual, so I think hardlight won’t take their place.
-
You're right they are but thus far atleast trials and comp literally hardlight/suros revoker/beloved. Its not that other guns arent good, it's just that hardlight is so good theres no point in using the legendaries because hardlights swiss army knife characteristics. I think it needs to be adjusted but not nerfed. The ricochet rounds could get a damage reduction and the flinch factor could be lightened a tad. Other than that I dont care.
-
I say wait a week. There’s always a time when a gun is buffed where EVERYONE uses that gun. Then we go right back to what we were using.
-
True enough, I agree with you. Those are just my thoughts from trials over the weekend. It's just too much utility imo.
