Hello everybody, Cosmodromians is a very small two-man run Clan who are trying to create a totally new type of Clan through building up a community on Discord. In which we can play all manner of game modes and game types in Destiny 2, and a way of completely avoiding LFG with random (and sometimes terrible) players. Better yet, there is no need to join the Cosmodromians Clan to be a part of the community. The idea of the community is for everyone to still be involved with your own clans if you want to be, and there is no need to jump ship - however joining Cosmodromians is an option if you wish to join us. But we intend to have a small and reliable community where everybody on our Discord is friendly and helpful towards each other. The idea being you can quickly jump into game types such as Dungeons, Master Nightmare Hunts, Nightfalls as well as other activities throughout the game and [hopefully] never have to LFG on Bungie's forums or app. For Cosmodromian members, we will try to plan at least one 'official' Raid per week, but hopefully two or three per week if time and member count is permitting. This will be arranged on a day and time which best for everybody. The general community membership (when the community grows) can allow for multiple Raids to happen simultaniously without any planned Raid days as it can be completely dynamic within the community itself. Other activities will also be entirely up to you and the rest of the community. Obviously we will need to build up the community first before it has the full effect we invision. But an example would be; if you want to do a run of the Pit Of Heresy, simply ask if anyone wants to join you in the appropriate Discord text channel and someone will likely join you. This is why everyone needs to be friendly towards each other and become an active member. The success of the community is reliant on each member being a part of the community itself. As the community grows, finding games will be easier as more people will be available at any given time. As well as this, more games can be running simultaniously giving the opportunity to play whatever, whenever - and more importantly avoiding LFG completely. [b]Joining The Community[/b] We are welcoming of anyone who is polite and helpful, however they must speak English when joining. It is also recommended that you have an understanding of the game and its mechanics. New light players looking to learn how to Raid in Destiny 2 as well as the other pinnacle activities are welcome, as are Raid Guides willing to teach people how to do the mechanics. If you are a Raid Guide or Sherpa willing to join the community, then please let me know when requesting to join as there is a specific title and permission given to Raid Guides. Our Discord is separated into multiple voice chat rooms where people playing a certain activity can complete it in peace away from the general population where call-outs can be heard. So joining these when you have arranged an activity will be the ideal place to complete them. We also have a General Chat Text Channel where anything and everything can be discussed (within reason obviously). Alongside this, anyone just playing in Patrol Areas, Escalation Protrocol or whatever else that is not listed as an Activity can join the General Chat Voice Channels to casually play and chat. [b]About Us, and The Cosmodromians[/b] A little about the two Admins of Cosmodromians. We are New Light players on PC, but have banked over 1000 hours between us in-game since October 2019. We are also veterans of Destiny 1 with prior end-game experience from that game too. We mostly play PVE content but stray into Crucible sometimes as well as a bit of Gambit Prime on occasion. There is a definite sense of humour needed when joining the Cosmodromians, and indeed the community. Destiny 2's grind needs softening with some humour and just plain fun, and banter. Myself and Flo have currently only completed the Leviathan Raid, so we will be among the players learning the Raids but will turn to teaching once we have learned the correct ways. However we know all other activities and are/will be active members within the community. Cosmodromian members will be granted with a Title within the community but you are every bit as responsible for the success of it as the general community members themselves.
