So last season the soft cap was 960. The artifact power bonus resets every season. So unless you’re in the minority of players that raids every week and does pinnacles every week, you’re going to come into a season at the soft cap or possibly a little higher. So 960+
The legendary lost sectors start at 1000. The daily bunker buster has two overload champions that teleport nearly constantly while they also regenerate nearly constantly. I don’t actually know what the recommended level is because it doesn’t display that when these guys kill you for some reason. How is someone who is only 970 supposed to do much of anything new the first week?
I get not making things too easy, but it is possible to make things too hard as well. Scaling is a wonderful thing that makes things more accessible. This has been a issue for a long time with this game, where things are too high level upon release. Especially in a season with not much to offer, this is a bad move. It’s EXTREMELY off putting to the average player. Which is to say the majority of players.

1 RespuestaI managed to clear the bunker twice (once before reset today and once after) and it wasn't unbearable... But those stupid teleporting overload champions had me resetting my artifact TWICE. Once for the overload auto rifle and once for overload hand cannon (more consistent, imo). ...stupid captains and their stupid teleporting CRAP.

Same mistake as Black Armory, they should've staggered the power levels of the different Rasputin bunkers and public events, put the EDZ one at 960 (or 970 since there was the pinnacle cap), then have the other two destinations have their activities at 980 and 1000 power respectively.

3 RespuestasYeah, those captains are like Taken captains on crack. However, I did find that swords can put them down pretty quickly. I was running through just hack-and-slashing and killed one of the champions before I even knew it was there lol.

O wow those two bunker Overload captains were a pain! Had to reset my artifact for the first time in three seasons just to get the right mod equipped then every time I stopped them the four reappearing shanks would appear to try and blow me up, by time I dealt with shanks the captains would be moving again and full health. Not fun.

You can't really over level(power) in this game, so to get a sense of development /progress they have put you against a higher power enemies, so when you hit equal power level you feel like a regular glass cannon. The thing I dislike the most in this game is power, and they want us to get another 100.

The bunker becomes about 300% easier once you unlock the Valkyrie and Heavy Frame upgrades in the bunker. There's one of each in the room with the two Overload champtions. The legendary lost sectors are clearly meant to be a group activity and should have been advertised as such, but that's Bungie for you.

The Bunker Twins are a pain but if you have a good HC with overload rounds you can get them on their knees and then introduce them to Recluse. Then when they get up, repeat, then focus on one of them and leg it if his mate gets too close.

Who ever thought up champion captains should be shot out of a cannon. Nobody likes the taken camptains cause of teleportation spam so they double it for the champions?

Its black armory 2.0 you have to grind old content first before you can play the new content

Because Bungie expects you to play like a streamer/youtuber and immediately be level cap within 2 or 3 hours of the update.

Agree its kinda immediately in your face. Makes you realize you have to do 8000 bounties and all the events AGAIN to level up.. I havent really tried at all. Just kinda tired of it really.

Without it... There’s nothing else added this season to motivate PvE players to actually level up. Essentially, It’s supposed to fill the role of a raid / raid lair and be “aspirational.” Lol. We sort of went down this road with Niobe Labs.

Those teleporting captains tripped my trigger really bad.... then I put on Throne Cleaver and I was happy again. Didn’t even need overload rounds. Just swing the sword and everything dies 😊

If you get a AR with Overload Rounds it will stop them generating and just keep shooting them, but i know what you mean its nuts the power level

I want a different game, I’m a better designer, There are better games! Then go find, make them or buy them, but for all that exists under the sun grow up and stop being such children about everything.
