I just can't do it with the bounties.
Since the new season dropped tuesday I have hours and hours and hours and hours in grinding bounties and seraph towers for warmind bits and the bunker is barely tier 3. We will be doing the same thing for the bunker on the moon and others. I just can't do it. I can't keep killing things with a sword, hand cannon, etc etc. I'm losing brain cells. This is madness. Nerf it. Nerf it into the ground.

I didn't create this post to say I wanted it to be easier to reach level 7 on the bunker. Im only saying bounty chores suck. Look at this season and season of dawn compared to previous seasons. Opulence. Drifter. The Forges. While some were unpopular with different player bases, all had content. This season is bounties. I can't do it. It's not enjoyable. Even the pinnacle activities and other things are getting stale. I think I'm done.

Holy crap this post gained traction. I can't reply to all of you. Sorry. Keep it up though i guess. Maybe Bungie will see this and realize we are tired of bounty chores.
Whoever made Season of Opulence, bring them back to direct your seasonal content. 👍

PSA: Do bounties until you Unlock the Strike/Crucible drop upgrade(Tier 3) then just farm the Lake of Shadows Strike. You get like a 50-60% chance of 30+ coins per 4-5 minute run. Boom, No more bounties! Unless you just do them at the same time really optimizing your time.

10 RespuestasWhen I found out that they only sources for the warmind bits was limited to a specific set of bounties, or doing a single type of Public Event or running the legendary lost sector (or should I say futile attempt considering it's set at PL 1000 and I'm 965 with the seasonal artifact bonus) - I threw in the towel and haven't bothered trying to make any further progress. It's just asinine that for the 'core' PvE related content of the season, there is only a small set of sources to get the material needed to make progress and forces you to focus doing these activities instead of - you know - play the game..

The only Bounties I enjoy doing are the ones from Spider, they are actual blunties with good payouts' you go hunt down a boss and kill enemies. I dont see how "get kills with a sidearm" counts as a bounty, thats more of a task than a bounty.

Yesterday I was slogging through yet another run of that Winding Cove public event, carrying a bunch of as-yet incomplete bounties. All the while I'm thinking, "What the f[b]u[/b]ck. What the actual motherf[b]u[/b]cking f[b]u[/b]ck is wrong with you?" I've never had so little fun playing a video game, and I schlepped all the way through Wolfenstein: Youngblood. I suppose thanks to Bungle are in order. This massive, steaming, extraordinarily malodorous turd of a season persuaded me to delete D2. Thank you, Bungle. I hope Bungle gets it together (stranger things have happened). If so, I'll gladly come back and throw more money at the screen. Until then, all my Bungle-related entertainment will consists of loling at Trials meltdowns on these here forums.

In all fairness, swords are pretty clutch for clearing those seraph towers... But yeah, it’s bounty overload to the extreme. Why we have to purchase these friggin things is beyond me, and why we have a cap to the number we can keep is even further beyond me.

2 RespuestasDid so many bounties in this game that it actually turned into a daily chore. Load in, go to tower, pick up bounties, spend the next 1-2 hours doing bounties, log off, rinse and repeat. The rewards vs time played is pretty bad, and when you work for a pinnacle, or ritual reward, it ends up in the nerf pile. So what is the point to this game again?

Been calling it bounty simulator for a while now. How to remove the need for creativity - base the entire game around bounties.

I upgraded the last colum first (the one that reduces upgrade costs) and then the one that gives you bits for strikes, crucible matches, gambit, etc... Sad to say but the seraph AR is not all that. The middle tree perks are a slap in the face compared to previous weapons. The ONLY reason to use these weapons is for the armor perks that require kills with seraph weapons. Otherwise I'd trash every AR I got.

Dont rush it just do dailies i didnt do bounties allot and its rank 7 just do other things like strikes they drop them allot

4 RespuestasDude I signed off with a migraine from a day long grind and just sat there rubbing my eyes. It hit me and I was like what in the actual Hell am I even doing? I am killing myself to raise my power level again just so I can do the same pinnacle events I have already been doing for the last 5 months? There is NOTHING interesting about this season so far. Granted it is early but as of right now I just shrugged my shoulders and said welp. This is a great opportunity to just complete some past exotic quests I have shelved and then just leave it at that. I'm not going to do this process for several bunkers for no real good reason. It is blatantly clear this season is for the PVP players which is fine they need some love but don't feed me Sh*t and call it caviar.

Personally, I've been alright with the game. I'm in no hurry, I know a catch up mechanic is on the way just like last season (Empyrean). My goal is Rank 3 so I can obtain the weapon. Pretty sure its Rank 3, no? After that, who cares? Just like with Empyrean, I amassed enough Fractaline for the now defunct emblem and the rest went to armor stat rolls and easy god roll farming. Though I do agree that bounties could do with a little revision. I feel like the additional bounties reward too few Warmind Bits for the Glimmer.

1 RespuestaI had my light bulb moment with bounties last season and haven't played since I discovered the joy of The Witcher 3 as a result, so Bungie deserve some credit for giving me that experience no matter how unintended on their part.

Nope. No doing it. I will be missing the triumphs, badge and title. I don't even want to mess with them toxicity of going flawless. None of this sounds fun. Maybe if we got rewarded the bits from regular activities.
