I just got back on it again and played for an hour or two, and it’s just as good as it was a few years ago

Games is boring. Low rez barren landscapes. Slower than witcher 3.

1 RespuestaWho’s excited for BoTW 2?!

10 RespuestasIt was a fun game, but not a very good Legend of Zelda game. For me, a Zelda game needs deep, complex, and hard dungeons with an unique boss at the end. It also needs a rousing score that whenever I stop playing the game, I'll be humming tunes from it to the annoyance of people around me for hours. To me, BotW didn't have either of those. They had a lot of good things, but it felt like they traded some genuinely cool stuff for the soul of the game.

I really enjoyed BoTW. I still remember my first playthrough when I first walked into Hyrule Castle and heard the music. Good times.

1 RespuestaMaking a statement and following it with change mind is one of the dumbest fads ever, change my mind
-
Is that not the general consensus of the game

I really regret getting it for the Wii U first. I made more progress in the Wii U version since I didn’t want to get the Switch until more games came out for it. Then I just gave in and got the Switch when Mario Kart 8 re-released for it,and also got bought Zelda:BotW with it. Now I’ve got no desire to finish the WiiU version and I don’t feel like catching up to where I was in the Wii U version on the Switch version. Come to think of it, the only 3D Zelda game I’ve finished was Twilight Princess on the Wii. Zelda:BotW is still a great game from what I played. A great shake up to the past 3D Zelda games’ formula that ultimately worked out.

5 RespuestasIt’s only okay, imo. Not bad, but also nothing really “wow” about it.
-
Don’t want to. I 100% agree.

It is an amazing game but it’s not without it’s flaws. I couldn’t stand the weapon breaking mechanic. I spent most the game using bad weapons because I was constantly saving the good ones for tougher enemies. It wasn’t a fun mechanic. The dungeons were also lacklustre for a Zelda game and were the biggest disappointment for me. I missed the massive Zelda dungeons of old. Having said that the creativity and wonder of the open world was great. Just the sense of freedom and discovery of the open world almost made up for the lack of big dungeons (almost).

4 RespuestasBotw completely shattered my expectations when it released over 2 years ago. It replaced Majora's Mask as my favorite Zelda game and instantly became one of my favorite games ever played. 2 years later it is still amazing and one of the best games ever made but, this game has a massive flaw. Weapon breaking. This has been talked about extensively so I'll only add this; It get's worse the later you get and/or on Master Mode.

4 Respuestashttps://www.ign.com/lists/top-100-games/5 According to IGN, it's the 5th best game of all time. Anyone who would even try to refute your argument would be immediately committed to the insane asylum.

Phantom Ganon pulling out the master sword, is technically canon.
-
Nothing to change here.

3 RespuestasYeah but does it have a boat?

I have mixed feelings about Breath of the Wild to be honest. It's definitely a good game, but it also has a lot of issues. However - those are the games that deserve sequels! And it's getting one! So hopefully Breath of the Wild 2 is much better.
-
Why would I try to change your mind when you’re correct?
-
2 RespuestasWeapon durability is a bad mechanic that shouldn't exist in any game. Stamina meters for the sake of stamina meters are dumb. Game's a 7/10 at best. It isn't even in the top 5 Legend of Zelda games, let alone one of the best games ever made.
-
It was alright. Don't really like games where I make my own fun, though.
-
Never played it. I've thought about getting it.
-
I haven't played much, but I really dislike the weapon break mechanic.
-
I don’t like the dungeons at all, and the actual sword combat is pretty mediocre. The exploration and all the different ways you can do things is awesome though.
