I’m not sure if it’s even possible but I’d love to see more class differentiation. I can play my Hunter, Warlock, and Titan, and feel almost no different in the way the game plays. Here are some ideas:
1. Make each stat (mobility, recovery, resilience) more distinct per class. Perhaps allowing Titans to have 20 resilience (or more) so they truly feel and play Tanky. Same for Warlock and Hunter.
2. More distinct Supers and skill trees. Each overlap and have a very similar feel.
3. More diverse skill trees in general. There are literally 4 options per tree and it’s preselected per tree. Let us have some options and more of them.
I can literally play one class and the game feels almost no different switching them up.

19 RespuestasCan't happen because of "pvp balance". Everything has to be homogeneous so that one class doesn't dominate PvP.

2 RespuestasThey are very different. These differences give hunters a MASSIVE advantage in crucible.

Yeah not gonna happen. Too many whiners. Remember the Juggernaught ability in D1? Tank bullets. People whined and got that nerfed.

Maybe make their base ability have a guaranteed plus 20 so you can put your stats in another category

6 RespuestasI like the extra stat difference Titans go to 130 res. Warlocks get 130 rec. And hunters will get 130 mobility But that would be a great disadvantage for poor titans 😂

25 RespuestasSee the problem is. It was like that. But all the titans and warlocks keep complaining that every class needs to be the same.

you make this all sound like something Bungie can easily do
they cant, they already have enough to worry about with 3 subclasses and balancing them out. Besides, you're whole idea spoils the game.
Editado por Artisan: 3/2/2020 8:46:23 PMI was gutted when after first choosing Warlock and having cool magic abilities like flaming weapons and grenades that seek out near enemies that you soon discover all the other classes were given equally good and VERY MAGIC abilities too. You essentially have Hunter-Warlocks and Titan-Warlocks. There is room in PvE for more class differentiation but in PvP you have to be very careful. If there are different special abilities that can battle it out without dominating all the combat to exclusion that's fine - it still should be a shooter at heart not just a press button special features game. The huge problem that has lead to massive statistical class imbalance is when those differences are very foundational to basic combat: melee, movement modes and maneuverability across the classes. Those should be brought closer with the special abilities more distinct.
