Nah. I reject the weapons portion of the directors cut.
You guys just keep making the future of destiny sound worse and worse. I do not want there to be a shelf life on my weapons that I grinded for. This is literally the reason I’ve been saying I don’t want another destiny game because I want my loot that I spent hours upon hours grinding for.
So much for respecting our time investment. Unless this changes, season 11 may very well be my swan song. I’m not staying for my time investment to be thrown back in my face. If I want to use a gun from year 1 in master level content I should damn well have the ability.
It’s pretty insulting in my opinion, that you spent such a big portion of the directors cut talking about how much our weapons mean to us, and how it affects gameplay for us, and then simply telling us that they now have an expiration date.
“Oh hey guys you know how much you just love that weapon? You know, the one that shoots perfectly, looks the coolest, has the perfect stats for you? Yeah, I’m chucking it down the drain in a few seasons have FUN” absolutely disgraceful.
Edit: OLDBOY in the comments posted the quote I’ve been looking for, after the dark below when they tried this bullshit on us the first time.
“The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete...the time you invested in your stuff should be respected.“ Can we go back to this bungie please?

18 RespuestasIf you want weapons to last forever then ask them to stop making new guns outside of exotics. That’s your only other option. You clearly missed the point made in the directors cut. The weapons will have a ENDGAME shelf life. End game is raids, Master/grandmaster Ordeal, Banner, Trials. Your weapons are still useable in everywhere else. Christ it’s like no one whining about this has good reading comprehension.
