I understand the initial gut punch to all players thinking that magically these weapons will disappear from their inventory. It also is Bungie saying, go use something else. Challenge yourself, make the game interesting again.

I guess that it's also true this gives more of a reason to grind and use new things. For me, just having trials back is a reason for me to grind. Those D1 Armor designs are worth it.
