I love trials but on pc it will be infested with cheaters. I’m going to switch to console just to play trials 😂

You'll still come across lag-switchers, Ddos, and modded controllers that enable full auto on weapons that don't feature full auto perks in game. Cheating isn't as prolific on console than PC.

I know but the chance you play against a cheater on console is way smaller.

Making it light enabled is a good countermeasure for anti cheating purposes. Those who get caught cheating will get banned and will take them more than a week to be back to a competitive state. I also do agree destiny needs an anti cheat system. But this is a good compromise for now, especially when its free to play

What are you on about? Light level is an intended feature, unlike lag or cheating. Did you think your post through at all, or are you just trying to argue? Look, I would play the shit out of Trials if it didn't have light level enabled, but that's the incentive. "Play our game longer and harder than everyone else, earn better gear"

^^^This. Tradition just for the sake of tradition is dumb. I don’t see what enabling light level adds to Trials, in any way. I don’t want to get beat because my weapons do inherently less damage. And I also don’t want to win because of something like that.
