Power Enabled in Trials is a HUGE Mistake

For many reasons. 1) If you’re going to continue PvE concentrated Pinnacle Gear, PvP players will have to do content they don’t want (I know, you have to play, boo hoo) to play what they do want or be at a disadvantage. 2) It creates an atmosphere where superior play can be undermined by a power difference rather than quality of play. On a similar note, it completely removes reliability. Weapon archetypes have certain associated kill specifications like 150 Hand Cannons (I picked this example because it’s easy) defeating with 2 crit and 1 body while in range. With power, that combo can vary. 3) If SBMM is enabled in Trials (not against it), it only amplifies the above the above problems in 2. 4) The seasonal artifact offers HUGE variability in player level. A player who grinds more has an inherent advantage which is somewhat fair, but it seems like you get a bonus just for maximizing bounty output. I think Trials is a great activity to have its own gear, experience, and ranking system. Those are what made Trials good. I think you’re adding a huge variable to the mix unnecessarily. I understand you took Trials away because the sandbox wasn’t in great shape for awhile, but you’ve been improving it slowly and you can literally just install the previous version without the power and it would still be just as popular. Another option is to disable the artifact for PvP activities.
