A Ritual Auto Rifle would be appropriate for next season
A kinetic 600rpm ritual autorifle with the following perks and traits:
Barrel: either chambered compensator or arrowhead break for that recoil control
Magazine: accurized rounds for extra range.
1st Trait: a choice between threat detector or under pressure. Edit: i was also thinking no distractions would be a good trait.
2nd trait: a choice between Zen moment or swashbuckler.
Either way its a very neutral design but you have the choice to turn it into a more up close and personal auto rifle with threat detector and swashbuckler or go the alternative route and use it more as a very stable "bullet hose".
It should either come with a range or stability masterwork.

Not when legendaries have a shelf life. I agree we need a ritual auto, but what’s the point when it’ll be left behind eventually?

4 RespuestasPersonally I think auto riffles are hot trash in D2. They have been since launch at best we got some ok ones... there meh... not horrible but defintly not great. Even break neck. It's kinda all hype that auto riffle as do most auto riffles in game fire ridiculously slow. And the few that fire fast... well it's like your spitting water at tanks. There only good for rank and fill enimes. Bungie needs to take auto riffles back to there D1 stats. When almost all of them fired alot faster. And a few had a wicked fire rate. That allowed them to be not just effective but great in side pvp and out side in pve. Personally I think all auto rifles should be on far and have a fire rate of the trials auto riffle from d1.... I forget its names. But it shredded everything. Just like that have been missing since launch. Everything feels either weak or just ok. No wow factor do tell slow rates of fire. And the perks. They need to add new perks and allow more perks per gun. And better combinations. On guns. I mean bring back the d1 style of unlocking your weapons perks as you level up. Guns had way more scope, grip and ammo options. Add mods that allow you to speed up fire rate. Or change the kinds of ammo

With all the buffs coming to auto rifles they are probably setting things up for the return of trials and the doctorin of passing (adept) for flawless runs

Just add an auto rifle to the pvp loot pool and i'll be happy enough since it has not had one since D2 launched except for season 1 Irom banner which has not been updated.

Bungie response: We’ve listened to the community and your idea and taken it on board so next season the pinnacle weapon for (vanguard,pvp or gambit ) will be a legendary bow. This bow is top tier pinnacle weapon that you guys will love.. ya da ya da ya da ya........ enjoy the grind 🙄 You ask for an auto rifle your most likely not going to get it

They already have what they want for next season near completion, they work on this stuff ahead of time to a certain extent. I wouldn’t doubt one being an auto though due to the auto buffs

Are ARs getting a PvE buff as well? I'd like to use mg 450s, but they are straight up trash and not worth an inventory slot much like most scouts.
