I mean I guess that would make sense, with him being a commie and all.
*sigh*.
U.S. officials have told Sen. Bernie Sanders that Russia is attempting to help his presidential campaign as part of an effort to interfere with the Democratic contest, according to people familiar with the matter.
I wonder if the same crowd hysterically pushing the russian collusion delusion narrative for years will even bother with this for more than a day or two.
Probably not.

Kinda unrelated, but: Can someone explain how Russia “interfered” with the 2016 election? All i’ve seen on it was that some Russians made social media meme accounts...is there more to it?? I’m out of the loop on this

Editado por ClusiveC: 2/23/2020 5:55:17 PM
I wonder if the same crowd hysterically pushing the russian collusion delusion narrative for years will even bother with this for more than a day or two.
This is a highly strange comment. 1. Bernie Sanders isn't liked by either Republicans or Democrats. His biggest political rivals are all on the democratic side. Even mild awareness of mainstream media and the political scene should make this obvious. If there's a reasonable chance of taking Sanders down, the Democrats are likely to be going for it more so than any Republicans. Not just because it'll hurt his campaign (and thus possibly help out more establishment candidates like Klobuchar or Buttig), but because Republicans run the risk of looking like massive hypocrites. 2. The article clearly states that the Russians are also helping Trump's campaign (something that anyone who doesn't live under a rock would know). In fact, the article says that members in Trump's own administration are aware of Russian meddling. The difference between Trump and Sanders though, is that 1 of these teams has been proven to directly be in contact with Russian assets. And 1 of these teams' leaders has come out on record begging for foreign help. 3. The last reason is that, if you're tired of Russian collusion, you should also be tired that the president believes that nothing is going on and refuses to do anything meaningful to prevent it. This article, that you cited, lays out the BS Russia has been up to, and it also makes it clear that Trump doesn't give a damn. It doesn't make sense that Trump both wants the Russia-talk to be done with, and also doesn't want to take steps to prevent it. That's contradictory in the extreme.

5 RespuestasOh, so this you believe. It's interesting how fast those on the right jumped on this, after ignoring the evidence/reports that Russia helped Trump in 2016. How many times over the past 3 years, have heard "no Russian interference from Trump/his supporters/the GOP. It should also be noted that those same reports that you cited also said that Russia was still helping Trump. The big question is what has he been doing for all of this loyal support from Russia that he has received for the past 3 years. Putin isn't exactly known as someone who does favors for nothing.

2 RespuestasDoes this mean the FBI will launch a secret investigation into Russian collusion with the Bernie Sanders campaign ?
-
7 RespuestasForeign interference with our democracy is something everyone should be concerned with. I get that you - among with many others - will want to make this a partisan issue, but take a step back for once and realize the larger picture. Not everything has to be reduced to Republican good, Democrat bad.

1 RespuestaThis is what main stream media does to your head, kids. Just Say “No” to Fox News and CNN News.

8 RespuestasAt this point I think Russia is just making a bunch of bots that are to rile up both sides. I‘m not convinced yet that either side is colluding with Russia. America will not fall from some war or outside force. The only way it is happening is if we split from the inside and this gets closer with every day.

Trump supporters are such funny delusional little things.
-
The way I see it, as an outsider, is that Russia isn't intrested in who will become your next president, they are doing this to sow discontent and division between the American people. And reading the posts from you and a bunch of others I think it is working.

Editado por Neko Neko Nya: 2/23/2020 3:31:58 AMExplain to me how Russia helping *insert any political figure here* Any different from: A.) Other lobbyists B.) Other countries who do the same thing to us C.) What we do to other countries on a larger scale. Oh wait Russia bad I forgot. Silly me.

6 RespuestasRussian interference in our elections is a thing. It doesn’t matter who they are trying to help. Maybe now that it’s Bernie that’s potentially benefiting, Republicans might actually acknowledge the problem instead of looking the other way and pretending it isn’t happening. Sanders said this:
“I don’t care, frankly, who Putin wants to be president, my message to Putin is clear: stay out of American elections, and as president I will make sure that you do.
Compare that to Trumps response, which was to call Russian interference a “hoax” and “disinformation”. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/21/us/politics/trump-and-russia.html He also berated and fired his intelligence director when he tried to brief the house that Russia were trying to interfere: https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/4830237002 I think we can guess which out of the two candidates has integrity and which is prepared to look the other way if it benefits him.

1 Respuesta
I wonder if the same crowd hysterically pushing the russian collusion delusion narrative for years will even bother with this for more than a day or two.
The difference here is that Trump openly welcomed Russian interference, where Bernie is denouncing this. Multiple members of the Trump campaign faced jail time due to the investigation of Russian interference, that is fact. Unless Bernie's team suddenly finds members in cahoots with Russian operatives, then we might have to settle that any Democratic frontrunner was going to get "help".

it's pretty clear that Russian is always helping the other guy.

Editado por The Dude: 2/23/2020 3:35:05 AMWell he just swept Nevada. Russia helped or what?

Washington Post? Pass....

1 Respuesta
Attempting
Until someone from the campaign actually has a meeting with a Russian discussing dirt on a rival, don't try and make this something it isn't

I kinda hope Bernie wins so I can scream Russian collusion for 4 years. There's a certain individual who im expecting to annoy about it.
-
5 RespuestasIts 2016 all over again, but flipped! Honestly, how can anyone look at the state of things and take any of it seriously? It's all a joke.
Also, -blam!- Bloomberg.
-
Not only is Bernie Sanders not a Communist, neither is Russia. Conservatives keep trying to make Bernie sound way cooler than he is.
-
I wrote in my vote for "Stinky Farts"
-
4 RespuestasIt may just be Russia trying to stir the pot again. But given that Bernie is a commie, they may be trying to win the Cold War decades after it ended.
-
Somebody go get liberty prime pls
-
5 RespuestasWell Bernie denounced the support and called Putin out on it. Not sure what else you want him to do....
-
2 RespuestasI think I remember reading back in 2016 that they were donating money to far left causes as well as far right ones. Like Antifa I think. I've joked about russian collusion and used it to troll some of your buddies but I never really believed it. I think its more that Russia is playing both sides against eachother to destabilize us. America fighting itself won't pay too much attention to Russia doing naughty things, ya know?

1 RespuestaI think it's hilarious.
