Can't remember the last time I ran reckoning, but my biggest problems with it are the times for literally everything in it. Especially the bridge (obviously), either a swarm shreds you apart or snipers turn your team into Swiss cheese or some random boss sends you to orbit and then there's a 15 second respawn time on a 30 second encounter?! Furthermore, it doesn't even feel like any of your weapons do any damage to bosses at all, except when heavyweight is on, but then your dumping all your heavy ammo on the bridge and have limited to none left for the final boss and then you lose and there are only so many times someone can waste their time on such a setup. Remove the bosses on the bridge or the timer on the bridge or the bridge itself, very simple.

  • They've already made it easier. If you can't beat it now, you probably need better strategies.

  • Or melt the bosses on the bridge fast, and/or use supers that support and protect. We have done the bridge without any supers, just have to be on top of the big enemies that spawn, and you should be fine. Also, Titan barriers for snipers, or negate all that and use Well of Radiance.

  • Don't get me wrong, I've had occasions where we've obliterated the bridge, for the most part, only to have a Minotaur or knight spawn literally on top of us and with a single stomp, end the whole run, bubble/well can't stop that, unfortunately. Also, especially with the changes to orbs and exotics, keeping up a chain of supers, especially with randoms, can be inconsistent and I'll admit that a Pre made fireteam is far better for the job. However similar activities like menagerie and (for now) sundial provide both armor and weapons effective in every aspect of the game, why should these activities be more forgiving and universally more rewarding for randoms than an activity that has a low weapon drop rate and armor that only works in 1 game mode? If they added a weapon selection method to the synthesizer, say, a combination of synths (2 invader + 1 sentry synth = sniper mote for example) to Pre select a weapon reward the same as we do armor, then I wouldn't give a shit about the negatives I would play the mode without complaint because the risk/reward aspect would finally seem balanced.
