I was going through my collections and noticed how the first few seasons had an abundance of vehicles that you could earn in game just from playing.
Now most of the new ships and sparrows in the game are from Eververse for purchase.... as the seasons change, so does the ability to earn gear in the game
A few recent raid ships and sparrows sure, but have you seen one for GoS yet?
Iron Banner and Gambit had a couple recently but not season 9
____________________________________________________
I just looked in my collections tab, in season 9 there are 6 ships, 10 sparrows, and 11 ghost shells.
Of those you could earn 1 ship, 1 sparrow, and 1 ghost shell. Everything else is Eververse
Compare that to season 5, there are 29 ships, 21 sparrows, and 34 ghost shells
All 29 ships were earnable, 1 sparrow came from an Eververse package, the other 20 were earnable, and all 34 ghost shells were earnable
And season 2, there were 31 ships, 48 sparrows, and 45 ghost shells.
All 31 ships were earnable, all 48 sparrows were earnable, and all 45 ghosts were earnable
It's gotten pretty stingy lately

1 RespuestaWho cares it’s useless anyway.
-
But when Luke "world's first" smith told about this to the community beforehand no one seemed to be bothered, it was all good. Now is not the time to complaint, blatantly a few people came to the forums to show their concerns and it was all a blunt.

Editado por DadKev: 2/13/2020 4:08:45 PMIf it means the drops I get will tend to have useful items, then I'm all for it.

1 RespuestaRemember when Ships and Sparrows mattered in D2? Neither do I.
-
Editado por Lord_Shar: 2/10/2020 11:58:49 PMBungie nerfed Eververse engrams and bright dust to get more of your money. D2 fandom and loyalty are great but doesn't pay the bills.
-
16 RespuestasWhat sucks is most of the Sparrows and Ships in Eververse are obviously related to in-game events. Its like they built these things for in-game drops and then pulled them to Eververse. Shitty.
-
Yep, taking end game rewards and putting them in store or part of the season pass. Next season is a solid pass from me.
-
1 RespuestaCongrats to hitting 1000 power on all characters I beleive with that much activity you would earn all that bright dust
-
2 RespuestasBack in the days you could even earn bright dust by just playing whatever you want. We keep regressing.

1 RespuestaI remember all the ships, sparrows and ghost shells were exclusive to Eververse at first, we had to fight to get some as in game drops instead. Like The Dawning came along right after Curse of Osiris launched and for weeks the community was in uproar over the extremely limited ability to get Dawning engrams, forums were full of "Remove Eververse" posts for weeks. Then Chris Barrett came along admitting that they'd focused too much on Eververse, announced new cosmetic items as in game rewards, and that rather than only being able to earn one type of engram during events you'd get double drops (so during Crimson Days when you levelled up you got a season 2 engram and a crimson days one too). It's a shame Bungie went back to the greedy system again, any major outrage against eververse just has some milk drinker come along with the "it's free to play, it's ok" argument

11 RespuestasRemember when video game companies made more money from selling games then they did from selling microtransactions? So they spent more time developing games and hiring game testers.
-
Editado por LordAzrael9211: 2/10/2020 1:39:31 PMYou do realise that Bungie said they would be keeping it all as microtransactions to fund the content that Activision used to fund... You wouldn't have had the Whisper, Outbreak, Bad Juju, Vex Offensive or The Sundial is it wasn't for kids spending money in eververse. You would have even less content than there is now. In nearly every single MMO cosmetics are behind a paywall. Stop crying because you can't be part of the hip fashion crew *OP has a good point, this is towards the people crying, not the OP*
-
8 RespuestasAnd yet you have most of it in your collections. How much of that did you buy?
-
3 RespuestasSince they are putting every cosmetic in tess sh*tty shop. They killed the farm for everybody. I dont feel like im in a loot based game anymore. Since you only get a few guns and a single armor set possible to get trough gameplay. And EVERYTHING else is behind a paywall. In d1 i had a blast farming for sparrows..ships..shaders.. In d2.....ahem...the only thing they want me to farm is my bank account. Since d2 isnt a loot based game anymore. Its just a bad shooter game with an expensive fashion part. I think i had enough of destiny, or more especially...of bungie. They messed up with my favourite game at a point i do not want to play it anymore. Ill see how next season goes since i already own it. Then ill probably wont buy the next content unless i hear that people loves it. And seriously, destiny 2 is the LAST game from bungie that i play. I wont even bother trying a new game made by this studio full of bad decision and bad designers (seriously they suck at creating perks and armors) Basically...destiny is good, and bungie do not deserve their creation.

7 RespuestasBungie's greed has stopped anything that gives us loot so we will buy the crap from eververse. I am not giving bungle a cent of my money they have sold their souls to the devil and ruined the game only giving us a tiny smidgen of content at a time. Game is trash
-
5 RespuestasThat's Eververse for you. It's totally ruined the game in terms of reward for investment, but Bungie don't care becasue they are making a mint off it. Funny how it's only gotten worse after Actvision left. When a company is being compared to them and comes out worse, you really need to rethink your player engagement strategy. To expand on this, I used to be one of those players that would grind for everything. If there was ghost to earn, I wanted it. If there was a sparrow that dropped somewhere, I'd farm it. I used to actively check my collections and look for those things I was missing. This is the way things are meant to be in a loot based game - you're meant to want to do that. As Eververse has gotten worse and worse, I don't care anymore because there's always so much loot locked behind a paywall that it's not worth me even trying to compete.

4 RespuestasEditado por thatdudeEd54: 2/9/2020 10:20:22 PMI own the majority of every sparrow in the game (Missing a few sadly). I can honestly say you can earn like 10-15 sparrows by doing very specific activities or during holiday events. You can buy 3 of them off Amanda. Everything else is sadly in Eververse. Edit: Ok so I went back to my sparrow collection and counted each sparrow that can be earned in game without ever touching Eververse. I came to a grand total of 32 more or less if I counted right. However, since most of those sparrows were event exclusive and were from previous seasons, you cant even get them in the game anymore unless that holiday event comes back or (for the Iron Banner Sparrows) Lord Saladdin has them in his inventory again. You can still get a good handful, but not the full 32 that I counted

32 RespuestasWhat? People don't like paying for a season pass, major expansions, and former game rewards? In a "free to play" game? Wait what?! Something sounds fishy hear. Wait, can you even hear fish? What sound do they make?
-
1 RespuestaEververse is Bungie’s main focus right now. If they design something cool, it goes straight to eververse.
-
I remember when they dropped as end of activity rewards and Eververse sold emotes, chroma and a few ornaments. I would rather pay a little more, have more content and loot drops, then play this bare bones seasonal pass push loot to Eververse setup.
-
1 RespuestaBut yet everyone keeps playing...
-
3 RespuestasThe minute I can beat a raid boss unconscious with a sparrow or a ship, I’ll care.
-
1 RespuestaAnd they were all trash. Play the game
-
1 RespuestaI also remember people being mad they had to buy loot boxes instead of getting the item directly. One if the major complaint leading to where we’re at now.
-
1 RespuestaNot only that, some of the Eververse cosmerics are almost surely ripped from gameplay. Shattered Throne had Pallas Galliot didn't it? Well the Acolyte Sparrow from Shadowkeep Eververse really seems like it was pulled from the Dungeon loot pool.
