It is infested with:
Campers aka Hunters
More Campers with Invis aka Hunters
Cheesy loadouts and spawn camping
Ridiculous amount of team shooting
Lackluster teammates who act like they have never done PVP at all
Solo players against stack teams. Makes 0 sense.
Lack of primary engagements and overusage of special weapons.
Rinse and repeat.
I can go into Crucible an hour later after logging off and come back to the same generalize setup.
This sandbox has been literally the worst. There is no fun and it lacks variety in terms of playstyle. It is literally like being in a match with a bunch of robots running the same thing over and over again. Screw waiting till March to make changes, it needs to happen like yesterday. Lets not even get me started on how boring PVE is.

3 RespuestasFunny, all I see is Titans, and double aerial dodge warlock’s/Supernova Locks/Arc web Locks. I just had the hunter crucible bounty today and it took a bit just to find a hunter to kill for it. So it’s not all hunters.

3 RespuestasNo one wants to gunfight anymore. It’s the land of the ohk in pvp. They really need to just go back to d1 pvp standards and only give u special on ur original spawn and from chests like heavy. No special ammo drop on deaths either. That would limit the amount of shotgun apes and sniper campers.

5 RespuestasUse the infinite dawnblade bug, best thing in pvp since the PLens meta 😂

1 RespuestaEditado por an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/10/2020 2:45:31 PMPersonally I feel this sandbox is far better than the infinite undying super spam from pre-shadowkeep iced with unending LMG chorus that last from previous purple brick to the next. It's not perfect, but not the worst by far. There's definetly problems like special ammo (OHK kills in general across the board) being too prevalent. But 2019 sandbox up to shadowkeep was worse than the current spot. As long as meta variety frustrations go, Destiny will never be balanced enough that all guns are as valid with all the different archetypes and stats and builds going on. It's majority human nature to use what works best. It's alright to do that. It's also fine to play off-meta. Each their own. However if you start actually nerfing based on just something being meta in Destiny, understand that something else will just take it's place as the meta pick. Nerfs need to happen based on objective facts. General game weariness from a lack of encounter variety is a separate issue. On average I think the folks who enjoy Destiny pvp the most are either the ones who like using the current cheeses better than the competition or the ones who like figuring the counters to the current cheeses and utilizing them when applicable. Both are good approaches.

Editado por Peter, Kell of Cottontail: 2/10/2020 2:19:35 PMPlayer issues.. not game. Bungie can do a little more communications.. if they had a vision to communicate. They need to commit to what d2 pvp is. Is it going to be about high iq builds and counters, or the weapon meta of the season? I vote for the high iq builds and counters. Get the wall hacks out of the game, or give counters. Balance ranges, get rid of damage perks that are not earned, etc... but it will not stop players from protecting their stats at all costs. Make the game perfectly balanced, and the masses will hold hands... make it unbalanced, move in herds, put objective game modes in... and there is ALWAYS those that are too good to play said objectives and just pick off easy cleanups from those that are playing the objectives. Make the core of the game our class, then subclass, then counter builds. ^this is the fun that is missing. The higher the iq and the more builds you put your iq into, the more fun to be had. Someone might find their easy mix and go for their wow moments... because that is what counter iq builds do.. eventually you will have your moment due to simple math. Skill based match making is not needed because everyone has their “thing” and is having fun. I remember spending a lot of time as a titan in year 3 using mostly peregrine grieves and a vex mytho for fun... and not only viable.. but a lot fun.. BUT any higher skilled player could and would easily shut me down. Adding in counters and iq builds opens the door for many more rather than set weapon metas and op supers.

1 RespuestaEditado por Nine: 2/8/2020 1:37:54 AMLook I agree with you on everything especially with matchmaking but regarding weapons honestly people are going to use whatever they want regardless. Look at what happened when Forsaken came out. LH/NF/Dustrock all year. Then it got nerfed, and people still use it a year and a half later, along with the sparebender loadout. Now I know Erentil is getting some kind of nerf and I’m looking forward to the changes but it still doesn’t feel like it would fix anything, rather bring more problems. People will always be looking for the next easy cheesy loadout to use because it is simply human nature. I want PvP to be good and fun to play but as the game gets bigger it becomes much more complicated to balance.

4 RespuestasImagine camping in destiny lol
-
1 RespuestaTLW- Beloved TLW- Mindbenders Erentil Revoker- Not Forgotten There’s your 4 distinct load outs people use.
-
3 RespuestasI think you accidentally added the word “now” to your title.
-
6 RespuestasAnd coincidentally all of these issues showed up after sbmm returned.
-
6 RespuestasI can deal with your entire list, except the team shooting. It is Y1 level again, just in time for trials, coincidence?
-
3 RespuestasWell it sounds like you aren't having fun at all. Maybe you should ignore what other players are using and experiment with different loadouts?
-
1 RespuestaThis sounds like another classic case of mad cos bad 👍
-
1 Respuestaidk about pc i think spare and mindbenders are used alot there, but on console damn, all i see is erentils, bastions, sidearms, people camping at the back with snipers, sidearms, cheesy warlocks with supernovas and did i said sidearms? another thing is idk why people complain about spare rations... on console lmao
-
5 RespuestasThe sandbox is actually one of the best in terms of variety. Arguably the best Destiny has ever had. Besides Erentil... But SBMM brings out the worst of any sandbox.

27 RespuestasI have yet to get a supremacy but when I do, it might replace my revoker and Randy's. It's funny, I see only handcannons, shotguns and jotun. Then there's me using things like le monarch for fun or devils ruin with Randy's or revoker.
-
8 RespuestasImagine getting angry at the other team being coordinated? Like, how do you get by in any other arena shooter?
-
45 RespuestasThen quit the game. No one cares about your stupid opinion. Go cry somewhere else.
-
3 RespuestasCheck out my halo reach montage/highlights tons of unfrigs, nairs. Play a different multiplayer game d2 pvp rn is beyond boring and nothing but hunters braindeads.
-
5 RespuestasGet used to it. Meta will be HC/Sniper/Shotgun for a very long time. It’s very stale and boring, honestly.
-
2 RespuestasI don't know why you're saying "now", all of these things have been a part of Destiny PvP since 2014.
-
2 RespuestasIdk man. I'm still having a good time. We just need more sandbox updates and loot.
-
1 RespuestaIts been boring ever since they changed the matchmaking
-
7 RespuestasSorry to hear. Me and my steelfeather repeater are having a blast.
