Post your age, what genuinely makes you happy, and if you find yourself being happy on a regular basis or not.
I’m curious about age to happiness ratio.

1 RespuestaAge: youngin I’m lucky. It may not seem like it all the time, but for the most part I’m a pretty happy person. I think I’m happiest with people I like. Before I moved, I had a friend who I would hang out with almost every weekend. We could do literally anything and have fun doing it. I didn’t realize it until I moved last summer, but a lot of my happiest memories were with him and other friends. Being with people who can make you laugh without effort is the best experience. I miss them. Aside from friends, I’ve got some hobbies that always make me happy. Art, music, and writing mostly. Plus I’ve got a lot of siblings and they’re fun to hang out with (most of the time) I think I’ve got a lot of reasons to be unhappy, and sometimes I am, but I’ve also got a lot of reasons to be content with where I am and what I do.

16 Fishing, writing, drawing, destiny, and music. And no I'm not usually happy, in fact I have to take a lot of time doing one of the above to stay relatively calm.

24 The gym and just sport in general I suppose. Yeah, as long as I’m not sitting on my ass all day doing literally nothing I’m pretty happy.

Editado por isaac13d: 2/8/2020 12:05:45 AM28 I can't really think of anything, I wish I could. Things that used to make me somewhat happy are just sort of eh nowadays. I might feel okay every once in a while, but most of the time I'm struggling with doubt and anxiety, feelings of worthlessness, and hating myself for being the way I am. Today I feel okay, I know it won't last but I'm taking advantage of it and trying to accomplish something while I still have some measure of positivity. I don't need encouragement and to be frank I'd just feel embarrassed by it. Hell, I've been meaning to tell my doctor about how I feel for over a year but the words just won't come out. So I end up just looking for things online to distract myself from myself and just bury it until I'm sitting on the couch at 2 am asking why I keep sabotaging myself and answering myself with "because you're worthless, you stupid -blam!-. Nobody likes you, even your father has told you he hates you." And then I just say it in my head over and over again and wish my grandpa was still here cause he was proud of me. But he's gone, the man that taught me to be a man, taught me all the good values that I believe in, who took me to my boyscout meetings when my dad was against it. Who taught me how to shave when I started growing facial hair. Damnit that's hard to write. I miss my best friend, and there's nothing I can do about it.

2 RespuestasAge 42 What makes me happy is my wife and daughter. My home, my family, hanging out with friends, getting out on weekends and exploring with my daughter, hobbies, books, gaming, art, music etc. Am I happy regularly? Yes. I’m pretty content with my life at the moment.

Teenager What makes me happy is my sport. It brings joy to me and knowing that I look forward to the next practice. Also my girlfriend encourages me everyday to do my best. Yes

24 Driving my car on an open road, no traffic, and my music on full blast makes me happy and seeing my dog every night when I get home from work. I'm not happy on a regular basis. As a matter of fact I get more angry than sad. I'm always catching myself getting mad at the smallest and stupidest things. People always tell me "Why do you always look mad?" and I guess its just who I am.

2 RespuestasI’ll just say I’m a teenager. As for happiness, I don’t think it’s any specific activity so much as a feeling of content that can be brought about my just about anything (reading, listening to music, playing piano, talking to friends, sitting quietly, literally just walking, etc). It’s just a general feeling that says everything is alright, and you’ll be able to make it through whatever comes at you.
r/im14andthisisdeep
Editado por concreteninja85: 2/6/2020 9:06:05 PM19 Listening to music, meeting and getting to know new people, talking about things I enjoy, video games (most of the time). I'm definitely not unhappy right now, just a little exhausted with life is all. Trying to keep a good mentality and outlook with it all though!
