I miss my Faction...
One of my favorite things about Destiny 1 was the hype around a new expansion and seeing what awesome new Future War Cult weapons and armor Bungie had created for us. From Hunter helmets, to exotic class items, to cluster rockets, Faction gear was some of the best in the game. Choosing and repping your Faction instilled the same amount of pride, and incited the same debates over who is best as choosing your Guardian class did.
Now our Faction leaders sit idly in the Tower, unable for us to interact with. There’s an entire generation of New Light Guardians who don’t even realize they are there, or what they stand for. I can’t be the only one who misses my Faction. For half of Destiny 2’s lifespan Bungie has been silent regarding this piece of core game content. Every Season I pray for an update, and each Seasonal Roadmap just makes me more and more worried that they are a pice of this universe that’s never coming back. dmg04, cozmo23, deeJ_BNG, we miss our Factions!

Factions not being here is a giant retcon. This game has 0 believable worlds. The tower is a shell of what it's supposed to be, it sucks. Barely anyone does anything in the hubs for Monster Hunter, even they have tiny details that make the world [i]feel[/i] alive. Even if it is abundantly fake. The artistic merit of a game is a key factor in how it ages. This game is a twerking emote away from being irrelevant in 2 years. It'll be remembered as one of the worst 8th Gen franchises in terms of contribution.

The saddest part of this whole thing is that the faction vendors ALREADY have an inventory. Just turn the darn thing back on. Change the gear to 2.0 and let's call it a day. Simple and relevant, not to much to ask. Anything after that isn't expected, but a bonus at this point.

The highlight for us was to run straight to fwc and check out the roll for The Wormwood and for The Waltz good times in D1.

I also miss factions from D1. I loved my FWC exotic cloak and helmet that flash FWC across my visor. I liked ranking up the vendor and knowing I was over rank 100 with FWC. I love repping factions, it’s unfathomable to me that they took it out of the game. Rally was horrible but still better then nothing at all, I think they should have them both.

2 RespuestasMany, many of us want Destiny back! Yet we are attacked by the tsunami of “D1 was trash, let it die, let it go, it’s all just nostalgic to you is all, etc, etc, etc...” Think about it... Destiny 2 is supposed to be a “SEPARATE NEW GAME”, buuttttt, they keep introducing stuff from D1... Yet they consider D2 [b][i]SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY[/i][/b] to the one and only Destiny.

6 RespuestasI catch myself wondering if Hung Jury thinks about me as much as I do Hung Jury. I truly miss the pride and care I had for Dead Orbit. There was something fun about having that faction rivalry among players. Going from what they were in D1 to being absolutely nothing but an equal to the random NPC guards in the tower is disheartening.

The game is much less enjoyable without the Factions. Just revert to the way they worked during Rise of Iron.
