1 RespuestaI want to level up by actually completing activities. That should be the main source of XP not bounties
-
Grabbing bounties and competing them while running activities you play anyway is pretty much the best thing to do. Bounties give glimmer, xp, resources, and some blues or legendaries that can be broken down into other resources
-
Curiosity got me wondering, what is your current season rank right now? If you've done a truck load of bounties I'm sure your rank is pretty high.
-
I finished the pass so fortunately I don’t have to do bounties anymore. I do not care for bonus power as I refuse to play iron banner with the power 1000 no life’s who have sacrificed their marriages to play this game constantly.
-
Only ones I try to do regularly are the gunsmith ones for cores. The rest I don't touch unless I'm doing something specific.
-
I posted a request to find out when we’ll all get our Season of the Bounty emblem.
-
I miss prison of elders. Wish it would come back in D2.

3 Respuestasyeah, once I hit 100, I could care less about grinding out bounties to get my light level artificially higher for 45 days. That is the dumbest thing anyone could do. Just play the game and you will get those artificial increases automatically. I think I was 973 by the time I hit 100 season level. now Im 980 and I do not focus on bounties. Just do what I want. You can do anything in this game at 980.

Never, Bungie wants to keep you forever on the hamster wheel of tedium till ye fecking die.

How does one get burned out from bounties? The act of picking them up?
-
1 Respuesta302 ranks total, here. Yes. Burned out.
-
Downvote for two reasons: 1) bounties can be something that just goes on in the background and they happen to boost XP while you are doing other stuff. If you are deliberately just grinding them, why? Is this all about season pass and artefact rank-up ? 2) some of us actually like doing them anyway ;-) Only downside I find is that I hit 100 on the Season pass after just 1 month in this latest season so apart from the Bright Engram every +5 above that it's a bit thankless - but at least that +20 Power artefact triumph (distantly) gives another reason to keep going.
-
It’s the going around getting them that annoys me. If they could be done from orbit or auto loaded into character then I wouldn’t mind.
-
1 RespuestaThankfully I’ve hit level 100 on the season pass so no more bounties for me 🙏🏾
-
I'll only do bounties that go with what I'm running tbf. Some people are just spamming bounties burning themselves out, I've seen people over 1015 power. Just have fun with the game and do bounties if any associated with set activity. Only thing that keeps me somewhat playing until they improve the sotg.
-
I enjoy bounties, but I'm also a big checklist person IRL so..
-
I was earlier, then I decided to do only ones which ’comes along’ the way I want to play. I.e. I don’t do anything I dislike. And enjoy just doing whatever I want.
-
1 RespuestaI stop doing daily bounties as soon as I hit 100 on the season pass. Light doesn’t really matter anymore, so there’s no point. Bounties aren’t enjoyable at all.

1 RespuestaEditado por Steamed Hams: 1/24/2020 3:26:46 AMSo why would someone play and "just do bounties?" Other than being new and having no idea what to do, that is.

Tuesday login do bounties Wednesday login to Warframe farm lich's Thursday login to warframe farm railjack parts Friday login to diablo3 continue GNR climb Saturday login to Destiny to help friends Sunday login to Warframe assist clan Monday login to Destiny to finish off any outstanding bounties. See the difference....its a choice to grind bounties. If your burnt out then thats on you. Granted the climb to finish the SP is a bounty slog, but you have 90 days to do it (from season start) thats an awful lot of time. If you are burnt out, play something else. Ive been a hardcore Destiny fan for 5 years and fully invested alot of time into it But why bash your head against a brick wall?
-
I try not to get burned out. taking a break to play red dead. Waiting to finish up the season title.
-
5 RespuestasIm not, because I don't really think about them or worry that much. I just pick em up, look at what I need and then go do what I want. Sometimes I just skip bounties because I don't feel like doing them. Ive played this season a bit more casually and Im already at rank 80. Its still January. Sure this kind of screws me over for Iron Banner but I know I can still play well enough anyways, especially if I bring in my team. So personally, Im fine. My issues are with content and a few other systems. Not bounties.

Sounds like D1
-
I stopped that grind after rank 100, 2 week into the season. I dont grab bounties or even play D2 as much after that point. Really burns through my motivation to play after multiple days of 5-8 hour grind session.
-
I used to play everday. Tuesday: Log in and do bounties That's the extent of my D2 playtime now. And now that I've got season pass up to 100, I don't even feel the need to do the tuesday grind anymore. I'll log in to do the couple of things I need to do for the season title and that's pretty much it. D2 feels like a chore now instead of something I look forward to playing.

In D1 vanilla you had to log in every say to do the only 5 bountys you could carry and the daily to get shards to level up armour and weapons as it took a week or two to get them leveled. Let alone farming planetary materials. It was a grind and a chore but the armour and weapons back then actually made a difference especially if you raided. You could grind PVE and rock in to Iron Bannana with your Vanilla Vex, Predyths, and Corrective measure at max level and feel like a god because you put the time in. Which would then encourage others to put the time in. It incentivised people to grind the game as it felt rewarding. I stopped with D2 a long time ago but it's clear there is no incentive to grind what so ever. I just check back here every now and again to gauge the state of the game and it appears to get more diluted every time I do.
