yup, streamers finally got new content. anytime there is 'new' in destiny 2 it's pay rent with this day. I just hope gladd looks back and thinks he's done well. Guy's in his 30s and just plays games 24/7 with teenagers. You reckon he wants kids or a wife in the next 5 years, if not he's probably going to be near 40 single playing games. Maybe that's him, just not for me. Idk, i've stopped playing after the first seasons cause it's just not fun to be forced to play but now that all the hardcore nerds are mad they'll probably take a break again :)

Exactly. Sweat posted his stats. Dude gained 25K followers. And he was getting donations while sleeping..... yeah. This was, as I said, just a Bungie to streamer bone throw.
-
But it could easily be short term gains for people to be disappointed and tune out in the long run. Which doesn't help the streamers.

25k > 0 no Matter how you look at it. If any of those resub that goes from 25001 up to 50000.

I believe the streamers were the minority of people who helped aid in solving the puzzle. The people in Raidsecrets, several Discord groups, theorizers, and data miners (also the people winging it) were the majority. Yes, streamers made some money from this (seriously, why you bring them up in the first place?), but they helped out the ENTIRE community by aiding and eventually solving the puzzle.

because dmg04 and cozmo constantly praise them and reply to them on twitter compared to anyone else.

Nobody is saying they shouldn't make money. Please stop assuming everything is zero sum. He's just saying the disappointment is a lot easier to take with a fast wad of cash in your back pocket.
