I don't understand the point of them. Sure, it's another way to get the material, but why?
-
It think it's just there to encourage you to play more.
-
No....No......No......No........ You just don't get it. You have to earn 500 blue engrams for one core.
-
Or make it drop from crucible too

Editado por twirlypen: 1/20/2020 8:42:09 PMYou still get trials tokens in d1 for competing matches that you have to take to Vance in the reef to exchange for motes. You know, instead of just awarding motes at the end of the match. It's just another way for Bungie to throttle and artificially reduce your inventory size. Can't vault them, and they know you're not gonna intentionally delete them (which is intentionally very easy to accidentally do)

I tried to make the suggestion a long time ago to make it a 30-min consumable vs a one time reward because of menu time. that idea got shot down by someone who believes that they are fine as is. enhancement cores are no longer pain in the ass to obtain. you dont need them for upgrading now that we have upgrade modules, Spider sells them and banshee has bounties. With all that being said, either get rid of it and change the function of it. Its a rare consumable to top it off. As of now I have 78 of them in my vault. That's 78 enhancement cores I refuse to claim when the menu loading time on console is trash. My idea would be to treat it as timed consumable that gives you a chance to collect enhancement cores from Majors and Bosses for 30 mins. But Nope. Some wise guys shoot down great ideas like this in exchange for eververse is Evil BS comments. and "I Stop playing destiny for good" Feedback.
-
Such a pointless consumable. Just give us the core for crying out loud.
-
16 RespuestasAlso, make it possible to use a strike booster before loading into the strike. Otherwise, I have to waste time waiting for my menu to load, then use it, then exit my menu, only to find my teammates are already half way through the strike. (slight exaggeration)
-
I've thought of this too. It's just a cheap way of them to get you to play their game more and a cheap way of making you feel like you earned something
-
2 RespuestasProbably for the same reason the game just doesn’t give me my raid loot/completion. I mean, it should just know our group is going to beat it without much difficulty.

1 Respuestait wouldn't be so bad if they automatically were consumed, so you didn't have to go into your inventory every time you want to pop one.
-
Ikr? All it does is take up an inventory slot.

This is for all the New Lighters who haven't suffered through the growing pains of D2 and maybe a little nostalgia for us old farts. Way back when the Masterwork Core (now called Enhancement Core) was introduced to upgrade equipment, they were relatively scarce and the Finest Matterweaves were added to help generate them. Beyond that, about the only way to get the accursed Cores was to get lucky weapon and armor drops that were Level 3 or higher and dismantle them. Now we have Weaponsmith bounties, Spider bounties, drops from Strikes, etc. so the economy makes Matterweaves far less useful. The Matterweaves could easily be removed from the game at this point. It is also worth noting, the Destiny community at large complained about the added difficulty to upgrading equipment when the Masterwork Core was added. Now we have Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards... Just sayin.

Please don't upvote this , because then bungie will be all ,ok no more matter ,instead will give you two cores for the price of five . 🙄

1 Respuesta
I don't understand the point of them. Sure, it's another way to get the material, but why?
Increase play time. Better numbers for Bungie.
-
1 RespuestaIt’s a holdover from a time when Bungie felt they needed to be rarer and harder to come by.
-
1 RespuestaIt's to get a definite drop.
its just another way
1 RespuestaI don't stock up on weaves 'cause I'm afraid of getting snatched.

48 RespuestasThis is peak Destiny Forum. "Why do I have to do something in the game? Just give me everything".
-
This is just another example of the kinds of issues that are now stacking up that either need updating or to be dropped. This is why we need a season of QoL updates instead of another reskinned, weak-ass horde mode.

"Don't have to focus on content if they're all needlessly running errands."

1 RespuestaAlso, can we talk about the pitiful inventory limits for Enhanced Prisms and Hardonic Essence?? Like... why??
-
3 RespuestasWhy Pure Matterglass Lens? Weapon Telemetry is literally worthless as they don't drop naturally (only have a chance if using PML first) and their sole purpose is to build reputation at the Gunsmith. Meanwhile, Gunsmith materials build rep faster and they can drop far more frequently (and are guaranteed) thanks to dismantling. Even if it's a delayed gratification, Matterweave at least does something. Would be nice if it had a chance to drop multiple cores though.
-
Why give you something in one step when they can make you get it in two steps instead. They have to keep you grinding somehow.
-
Cause they’re trying to max out your inventory.
