Incentivise veteran players to help others.

I see a lot of people asking for solo activities which I think indicates a massive failure; not because it doesn’t have those activities but because clearly there isn’t enough of an incentive to help random/new players. A few ideas might be: unique rewards to those that help players in their first raid completions An in game LFG A skill tree dedicated to perks that help new players in endgame activities Clan rankings Player profiles that show how helpful they are? I don’t think the answer is having lots of solo activities. This is a multiplayer game after all. I know guided games is a thing but honestly, the intention may have been right but in practice it was terrible. Give people more incentive to help others! edit Noticing a lot of “people should help others because it’s nice, not for reward”. Well, firstly, I totally agree but that’s the situation we have currently and if I’m not mistaken, 80% of the player base has never finished a raid and many people are locked out of certain catalysts/pinnacle weapons etc. Secondly: why is it a bad thing if it’s mutually beneficial? Thirdly: incentives can mean more than direct rewards. A skill tree that makes it easier to help others the more you help others is good, surely?

 • There's a difference between a solo activity and just playing the game solo. No one is asking for solo activities. People are just asking for MM to be put into some of the pinnacle endgame activities because there isn't much to do outside of that and having to group up outside the game with mics becomes obnoxious and tedious after a while. It's basically Bungie needing to build smart MM into the game, but instead of doing that, they just throw this LFG tool out and say "here, you guys do it, we need to focus on making more stuff for Eververse because if we even look at our code the wrong way it all falls apart".
