You need to clarify things better
So, decided to go do Shattered thrown finally. It very clearly says 1-3 players cooperative, then I get into it and no, without 3 people you can't do it. If you're going to tell me 1-3 players Bungie, then you'd better damn well scale the enemies to how many are registered in the fireteam, its pretty simple and general common sense.

Also it’s definitely possible to run them solo, there are triumphs for doing it and more than enough YouTube videos showing you how. Hell, even my dumb ass almost did shattered throne solo before getting bored and never getting around to trying again. Bungie has never and probably will never scale down enemies based on the number of fire team members. It’s been this way since the start of D1

Like others have said it is solo-able as long as you are an above average PvE player and are willing to put in the time. That said, not everyone is capable of soloing it or is not willing to put in the time and frustration to solo it. Personally, I think all activities (except raids... maybe) should have [b]optional[/b] matchmaking. No real reason not to.

It's designed with 3 people in mind, but you can solo it.

2 RespuestasDungeons should have optional matchmaking. Then this “1-3 players” would make sense. Let the people with infinite friends lists or the ultra hardcore who want to solo it have their LFG fun. Let the rest of us enjoy the content without being forced to beg a couple of strangers to help us. Dungeons aren’t THAT hard to figure out.

Editado por Ari: 1/6/2020 6:00:52 AMIt can be done solo, that's why it's 1-3 players, it even has a triumph associated with it, tho just because it could be done, it doesn't mean it's the "normal" way that the devs intended you to do.. it's a 3 man activity, just like almost every other. The same happens with the pit on the moon. But i do agree that this game lacks information about its mechanics and such, and so it would be better to have a warning sign when trying to do an activity with less than intended players.

I don't think I could solo it: I barely had the patience to finish it with a friend. All activities need optional matchmaking as well as ability to scale the difficulty based on how many players there are in the activity. I would add that if Bungie had AI bot teammates as options in these kinds of activities, there would be far fewer complaints about PvE content from solo players.

6 RespuestasJust throwing this out there - shattered throne is VERY challenging solo. I have managed it, but it isn't pretty, fast, or by any means easy. Even a second player ups the clear rate exponentially. It's gonna change a lot based on play style and patience, not to mention how stubborn / persistent you are. The Ogre is going to be the worst part of the entire experience if you're solo. You're gonna need to clear ALL of the little adds before you kill even a single wizard, and you're likely gonna repeat that stage a minimum of three times, assuming you save your ult for the big baddie, and unleash heavy at him. I do agree, it should not be called a '1-3 player cooperative' mission. 2 should be the minimum for anyone who isn't a confirmed masochist.

4 Respuestas1-3 means that a maximum of 3 people can join, it never says it has matchmaking. It’s completely doable solo though, it took me around an hour and a half, 30 mins was on the last boss wiping until until I found a good strat to do it easily (Riskrunner)

I've made a few solo attempts as well but I haven't been able to figure out the best load out for myself for Dul Incaru (final Boss). Vorgeth (first big Ogre fight) is an absolute -blam!- for me and I have yet to get past the big guy without dying. There is really not another part of it that I find difficult honestly though. I'm actually on a Dul Incaru checkpoint right now and have spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 1/2 to 7 hours in the Throne on this run. You DEFINITELY want patience for your first few solo runs at it and once you clear a section then I'd recommend taking a breather. For you, that might mean a half hour or a day (or more). Just depends on your level of frustration when you clear the section. You keep the checkpoint for the week so you have enough time to learn the sections and how you can best run them for your own play style. What part are you finding yourself stuck at right now? Edit... When I said "There is really not another part of it that I find difficult honestly though" I meant not just Vorgeth but both Dul Incaru and Vorgeth. Everything else is just about patience and persistence. :)
