People are still complaining non-stop. D1’s content and loot was epic. Nobody’s going to remember anything in D2. Especially now that stuff is going away.

Which is fine. But all this franchise has really established is people just like to complain no matter what.

I see far more complaints about D2. Then again I was rarely on the forums when D1 was relevant because I was too busy enjoying the game. I spend more time on the forums now because it’s more fun than the current game.

What is more "Quality" about the hollow, empty world that was D1?

Every raid was more fun. Didn’t have to dedicate your life to get everything. Strikes were more fun. PvP was more balanced. It just felt more fun. All the garbage content in D2 feels rushed.

All the garbage content in D2 feels rushed.[/quote] D2 raids are so much bette than d1 raids. Vault is only good because of nostalgia. Crot has never been that great. Kings fall and WotM are amazing raids. Leviathan is pretty shit imo but is pretty solid in terms of design. EoW is fun, easy and a good experience. SoS is a blast to do with friends, but has a higher entry level that makes lfg for it a pain. Last Wish, Scourge and Crown are amazing. Garden is probably the most fun raid, but gets held back because it’s missing a first boss phase.

Raids were FAR worse. VoG was good and it was the first, so everyone places it higher than it should be because of that. Crota is essentially what we now call a Dungeon. King's Fallwas an overall mess of wipe mechanics over actual gunplay. Wrath of the Machine was the only raid that I'd agree was on par/better than SOME of the D2 raids. Strikes, I disagree on as well. Bungie took the ideas of D1 and went further with them in D2. However, the one thing that's slightly worse is Strike Specific loot became Nightfall Specific and it just doesn't look as good as the specific rewards from D1.

Well. We’re just arguing opinions here. Which will get us nowhere. I had significantly more fun with D1 than D2. I was also an advocate for D1. I wouldn’t recommend D2 to anyone. I’m glad you’re having fun with D2 but not all of us enjoy it as much D1. Just had to speak up in your post because I’m stubborn.

Lol I understand that. Trust me, I played a TON of D1, but nowhere near as much as D2. They both DO have high points, but for me, D2 just has slightly more. P.S. even though we don't agree, I'm glad you explained how you felt D1 was better.
