33 RespuestasTbh, in every pvp style game I've ever played, the weapons have never made sense. Assault rifles...in reality could cut a bull in half, but in game, you have to reload and continue firing to take an enemy out. Shotguns....very short range weapons with a huge spread of buckshot that many people have survived, yet one shot kill from distance in the game. Scouts and snipers...modern snipers can kill from phenomenal ranges from the waist up, but you have to land a precise headshot in game, Hand cannons and side arms....notoriously inaccurate throughout history and short range, yet are still some of the most powerful weapons in the game at present. Grenades....you may as throw a handful of feathers for all the damage they do. I know that games like Destiny are far from reality, but let's at least give weapons the credit they deserve and put them into some sort of context

1 RespuestaFrom an SMG with decent range to 540rpm full-auto pulses - why have anything in between? Too many blurred overlaps in the game. There needs to be movement brought about by range choices. There's too much bullet magnetism around for what should be a "spray n pray" style weapon. They're mainly "roughly cover the target and hold down left mouse" They should neither do the damage of an SMG nor have the range of a pulse, auto's are a pointless bandaid between the two. Auto's imo are either fine or redundant.

102 RespuestasThanks for the feedback. What kinds of things would you like to see improved about auto rifles?
-
Yo, you ever been melted with a Misfit? No buff needed.
-
5 RespuestasGTFO of here. Autos are fine buf hand cannons. Lord High Fix from D1 was the best. Let's go back to that archetype.
-
There ok to me

1 RespuestaCan we settle on buffing the hell out of Breakneck?
-
They need to nerf specials. Then autos will see a rise with the other primaries. And my le monarque will finally reign supreme but don't worry about that just yet...
-
1 RespuestaAn old ask but you’re not wrong. Bungie has stubbornly refused to buff ARs since they were nerfed back in Yr 1 of D2. You’ll get used to this. Bungie has never responded publicly to the community as why ARs won’t be buffed despite numerous requests just like yours. It would be good to know why wouldn’t it? That way we wouldn’t keep pestering them with the same requests.
-
But i wont be able to run in a straight line with my shotgun without getting melted... 😭

4 RespuestasEditado por Dano2point0: 1/2/2020 7:44:04 PMAs long as we don't have another Uriel's Gift meta for 8 months a buff to auto rifles range would be good. Since the nerf to hand cannon and pulse rifle range did absolutely NOTHING other than make us fight closer and die from SHOTGUNS more, Bungie should just reinstate the range they had so we can go back to the occasional mid range gunfight.

4 RespuestasThey’re fine in PvP but in pve they need a major buff even a 50% buff would have them with lower Ttks than smgs

5 RespuestasEditado por GabZoool: 1/3/2020 9:25:44 AMThe exotic autos are quite strong. Sweet business is still monster in PVP and after buff in PVE too. It has SMG dps kill times after spin up and with actium war rig u never have to reload. It also has now AP rounds and still retained the high caliber flinch because its a 360 high impact auto at base.

2 RespuestasBuff nova warp
-
knowing bungle, they will sell damage increasing mods in EV for silver only now

2 RespuestasAgreed. They are still too weak, especially in Gambit lol. Even with a G rolled Ringing Nail it takes forever to kill red bars.

Editado por malonestranger: 1/3/2020 9:01:36 AMThey could fairly buff them in subtle ways to create a more uniformly lethal weapon choice. Personally I like the " feel" of most of them currently, but I agree that there are more lethal options and " easier " options to be lethal with. A blanket damage buff would be the incorrect way to go in my opinion. Things like Suros Regime and Monte Carlo would become a bit too hot to use a quote from a certain dev. The TTk's for most AR's are somewhere around the 0.9sec range ( I'm not claiming to be a numbers expert so forgive me if this is out ). So IF....if you consistently hit your crits you have a weapon with a workable TTk at a versatile array of ranges at a relatively simple skill curve. And going from what I understand the INTENDED trade off is due to the versatility and ease of use of AR's, they are edged in 1 on 1 pure lethality at all other weapon classes intended optimal ranges. So part of the balancing problem is because of this. Put simply, if they make them much better so average joe can beat out hand cannon pro's... those same hand cannon pro's will pick up the AR and you will never beat them with anything inside of scout range or the obvious special weapon cases. They will triple jump 720 hip fire you to death while you have your feet planted like Schwarzenegger holding a mini gun in the middle of a football field thinking you've got them beat. So the buffs that they could fairly use need to be subtle and individually crafted on a case by case basis. I think targeting stats like stability and accuracy, recoil and also hip fire accuracy and even magazine size bumps could be healthy buffs that don't break things open too drastically. After some tweaks and testing with these enhancements they could then if needed push the range and or damage around a bit to get the right feel. Ultimately I think their aim should be to lift them in a way that enhances upon what they already do well. Make them more lethal by making them more accurate for sustained fire with bigger mags. Or push the damage and range up a smidge but retain some recoil and stability constraints to reward focused and controlled shooting. Or a combination of all these things sparingly. TLDR; buff them slightly in consise areas such as recoil, stability, mag size, accuracy cone, hip fire, range and damage last.

Buff Xbox Auto Rifles. lol At least give some of the 600 RPM's and 450 RPM's a little more impact.
-
4 RespuestasYou people asking for buffs and whatnot, need to start by saying which platform you are playing on. Console or PC. Because the weapons play very differently with M&KB vs Controler. And 30FPS vs 60FPS+. The feedback will be more applicable and valuable to the Dev team. Just a suggestion.

Editado por juicehead2004: 1/3/2020 8:44:54 AMThe raid auto is really good if u get a good roll on it. I’ve had a bunch drop but my personal favorite for pve is the one that dropped with outlaw and kill clip with a stability mw, paired with a backup mag it holds 60 rds and is a literal laser beam . Deals a very good amount of damage . Other than that tho, I agree autos do need a slight damage buff. Problem is that Recluse is such an amazing add clearing weapon that it’s hard for me ( and pretty much anyone ) to run anything else in my energy slot

1 RespuestaIf you understood Bungies philosophy behind auto rifles you quickly see they are designed for the casual and beginner. I would not expect a buff for that reason.
-
Buff everything
-
5 RespuestasBungie won't because streamers will have a tantrum because their Handcannons would be (rightfully) getting s*** on at medium range.

Editado por TheWanderer17: 1/3/2020 12:54:03 AMHonestly I dont think these weapons need straight buff or debuffs to make them play more evenly. I think if they messed with how they settle to create off angle drifting would help. It would make them all feel like that have more significant tradeoffs. The more force put out (with time or per bullet), the further point from initial it should settle, and therefor require more skill for re-acquiring target effectively. Currently length off firing doesnt seem to significantly affect this delta, and it's really just settling rates. Autos do feel underwhelming. But they should against an SMG at short range. All I'm saying is it needs more than the stability, damage, fall off that many are saying. I do not have a great solution for it. And along with that, get rid of the aim correction / bullet magnetism. Literally aiming above a targets head to force a headshot is dumb it also makes so the small deltas after settling are not significant cause the correction covers for alot of the kick. Just my take, but the feels need fixing first.

Only certain archetypes in PvP. Monte Carlo archetype is very strong already. PvE buffs for hang canons and autos would be much appreciated.
