The board wasn't empty.

As much as it hurts, this. They have no clue where the story is going because the people who made the story left BEFORE D1. They’ve been steering the ship as it goes since most of of the people responsible for the story left before the first game even released.

Oh, boy.....here we go again. You know. Nobody who was in that reveal of the supercut had anything complimentary to say about it.
