This is the fastest population drop since Destiny 2 launched September of 2017. Daily numbers have dropped from 3 million daily at the launch of Shadowkeep down to roughly 400,000 daily now. That number may not sound bad, but statistics show that an MMO, which Bungie claims it is, needs to have roughly 1 million daily users to keep proper longevity with meaningful content releases.
I can’t say for sure if it’s their last leg because anything can happen from a complete rework to someone buying the IP from them, the former is obviously more likely. I can say that I BELIEVE (I said BELIEVE as in I don’t know for sure or am speaking on behalf of the community.....you few players who do that know who you are) they have burnt bridges with a lot of the seasoned players. I believe any major changes now will be focused towards the Kinderguardians because they don’t know where the game was.
So with all this expect A LOT of videos from top streamers defending Bungies choices with Destiny and convincing newer players that this is the best direction they’ve ever gone in. You know, because TTK and Forsaken DEFINITELY weren’t the right direction 🙄🙄 lol. If you do enjoy the game then keep playing it, but don’t convince players that have been around since Alpha and Beta testing of Destiny 1 that the game is the best it’s been because it isn’t. However, you as players are allowed to still enjoy it yourself.
Toss a coin to you Witcher.

Numbers are bugged on Destiny tracker. The only reliable source of player numbers at this point are Steam. https://www.githyp.com/destiny-2-137300/?tab=player-count As you can see the PC player base has been holding steady throughout December since the release of Season of Dawn. So the notion that PC would be steady...and somehow the absolute bottom would drop out of the console player base makes no sense whatsoever. As someone who plays on every platform, I can assure you that the console player bases on PSN and XBL are doing just fine. The PC playerbase has typically been about 10% of the player base....and therefore the best, reasonable estimate is that the daily engagement is still between 700K to a million per day.

Xbox is not fine, most of my games in IB were 8 man teams. And for a week I played the same people, that’s not a healthy player base. Also using steam numbers and then multiplying them is just kike making up a number because there’s no actual source. I’d take DT over some number you made up. I can’t comment on PS or PC but from my twitter feed the cheating on PC looks unbearable and ruining top streamers experience day in day out. That’s facts not made up numbers

Editado por Arthur Morgan’s Lungs: 1/1/2020 11:24:27 PMDon’t pay attention to him. He’s biased towards the game so he will be blinded to most facts. The tracker is up and working properly now and is showing less then 400,000 daily users. Someone posted an API that showed it to roughly 220,000 they believe. Now Bungie is taking down, not locking, any post linking facts of the population drop. They are officially scared and know that things are going south quickly.
