Has anyone else realised
That there are no Hunter npcs at all within the tower?
Like there are now 4 Titans (Zavala, Shaxx, Saint-14, and Saladin on Iron Banner weeks)
Ikora representing the Warlocks, possibly Master Rahool too? (Are cryptarchs under the Warlock banner?)
Edit: Drifter as a light-bearer not leaning towards any class in particular
But yeah no Hunters at all for us to speak to? (It's probably a bit unbalanced)

All of the hunters straight up fled the tower when Cayde died because nobody wants to be the hunter vanguard

7 RespuestasBecause hunters are the only ones actually out and about fighting for humanity while everyone else is stuck in politics or ran. Zavala hid behind an army on titan. Ikora scared away to Io. Cayde... was the only one to say eff it and got a transmat device to get on the ship to destroy ghaul but we got our light back so he smartly let us go but nonetheless, he was gonna try. Hunters are doing work.

Hunters naturally don’t spend much time in the City and with no Hunter Vanguard there isn’t anyone around. But we know that Shiro, Marcus, and other Hunters are out there. Rahool is not a Guardian. Guardians can be Cryptarchs, but Tyra Karn is the only Guardian Cryptarch we have ever heard of. Ikora, Asher, and Osiris are our Warlock npc’s in-game, though there are other Warlocks alive that we know of, such as Aunor, Harper, and Mendawasey. Toland used to be a Warlock as well.

I remember reading in a lore entry somewhere that Ikora and Zavala called for an election amongst the Hunters to pick a new Hunter Vanguard, with that causing all of the likely candidates to run as far away from the tower as possible.

4 RespuestasI think the best hunter player in terms of pve and pvp should become the new hunter vanguard. Bungie would customize a look for them - and buy them a free name change so they can have a good solid name instead of a xxxSniper360XXx. That would be a nod to the community.

5 RespuestasDrifter used to be a Warlock if I remember correctly. As far as Hunters, we dont have time to goof off at the Tower. We're all out putting in work in the Crucible.

Eris was in the Tower for a long time, and if Drifter is anything, I'd say he most resembles a Warlock. Side note: Rahool has no class because he is not a guardian. Cryptology is a studied profession apparently exclusive to Awoken.

Makes sense, considering Hunters are infamous for staying in the wilds instead of frequenting the tower It’s why the Hunter Vanguard was chosen in such an unorthodox way.
