Recieving error codes should be tracked by bungies servers. Stop giving penalties for disconnects your server can verify.

I had an aweful match in comp which ended for me getting an error code guitar. Back in orbit (yes, I was still connected with the servers) the game showed up with "oooooops, seems like you left a match" message from Shaxx. Bungie.... In all respect.... Are your programmers stupid? Why do your servers not verify the error codes we get, when we are still connected with the game? Is it so hard to programm something that checks if someone left because of a network error that just threw someone out of the match but not the game itself? Do I look like I wanted to leave my team behind ON PURPOSE? I knwo we can't expect dedicated servers from you... But at least this "small feature" you should have in your repertoire.

  • you mean the error codes you get for connection issues? the same codes you get for pulling your network cable?

      Umm... the game does in fact run on dedicated servers. That term does not mean what people typically think it does. Having one or more unstable routes is your problem. An unstable path across any network negatively impacts communication... ...period. Need to verify things are up to snuff with your local network, as well as your ISP's routing. Not just your local connection to their network. They need to be looking all they way to their IXP's, along the extended paths on the other side of those IXP's-- the entire paths of all your connections... all 12 up to 20 or so of them that can be in play depending on what all is going on. Bad routing can knacker up the best of any type of online service. Your ISP sets policies that ultimately orchestrate your routes.
