Regardless if you like him or hate him, this article is on point. I had no issues with most of the quest but putting heavy kills in was counter productive to the matches. Everyone had to camp on the heavy to complete that step. I’m a PVE player but I do IB for pinnacle gear (iI used to for the weapons but I have all god rolled IB weapons now) and this was as bad as I’ve seen it since D2 launched. As a non PVPer it took me 24 matches playing solo to complete the quest. I belong to a clan but was curious to see how long and how bad it would be for a solo player. 24 matches. I believe I won 14 matches and lost 10. One match I did load in at the end for a loss and didn’t get any progress on the bounty. I believe it took me 8-10 matches to complete the rocket launcher bit. Close to half of it. The camping was so bad that teams were just fighting over the heavy and completely ignoring the matches. I used a god rolled Night Watch and the new exotic scout for the scout bit, a god rolled kindled orchard for HC kills, Lord of Wolves for the Shotgun kills and Death Bringer for RL kills knowing the heavy was difficult to get and I wanted multi kills. So that’s 4 hours of playing time to get it done. Matches were called early during the beatings on both the winning and losing end. So these numbers are generalized for the post. I’m not opposed to a few hours of play to complete an IB but the quality of the play was awful. I did it on my Warlock but won’t be running through that mess on my Titan or Hunter. Just my 2 cents and yeah that’s what it was worth.
