Ah yes, make it so you can do any raid boss in 3 seconds again.

Sure. Given I’m on try number 18 for one thousand voices, anything if I can get riven done quicker and get it out of the way so I can get my 10th apex predator, or 4th helm.

Dood if you’ve got a video of that please share!

That was because of the change to the activation window for a hunter's arc melee, not the damage multiplier from the grieves. Bungie reverted the change so that you can't fire a shotgun while sprinting then instantly do a melee ability afterwards anymore. OP was talking about the damage multiplier on the grieves themselves, not the 1-2 punch/melee ability combo. OP, if you want to see what the crack was with that, then look up a video from Ehroar or Atzecross 👍

I know about the one-two punch peregrine combo, I just didn’t know there was another combo that could do the same thing.
-
There kind of is now, but not with peregrine greaves. Fear not though, my Titan companion, we can now combo the solar plexus mod from our artifact, combo that with middle tree throwing hammer, add in wormgod caress, and add a sprinkle of 1-2 punch. This solar plexus mod, combined with when we have both our wormgod melee boost at x3, Roaring Flames at x3 and throw in 1-2 punch, will give us roughly x74 melee damage. I know it's not what you were looking for, but at least Titan's still rule the roost for damage output right now 😁

I figured Solar Plexus was the reason for the nerf to peregrine greaves. But I don’t understand why they didn’t apply a smaller nerf to the boots, a 50% reduction is absurd.
-
Yeah, it's a heavy handed slap for sure. I didn't drop the greaves until recently, so missed out on the high damage fun. I guess a good reason for a nerf is that it means there isn't a definitive "best" exotic on a permanent basis across all 3 subclasses
-
A player’s definition of exotic armor means overpowered, otherwise it’s no fun.
-
Hmmm not sold on the idea of an exotic being "over powered" as such. For me, it should be a focal point in a build that makes the combination of certain aspects turn an ok set up into a brilliant set up. Now, I know this can't be a thing in destiny due to us not being allowed to pick and choose our skills and perks in our subclass trees, but the base principle still applies when we look at armour/weapon set ups over all.
