What the title says.
The game was not bug free in any shape or form before SoD, but since the SoD launch
the amount of bugs is just embarrassing. From simple ones like flashing icons like the one from Osiris, to bigger ones like damage bugs, to complete game breaking ones like the unplayable forsaken campaign.
Maybe focus on writing correct lines of code, instead of writing recipes in cookbooks.
This is getting out of hands, bungie.
Edit: My god. It's even worse after the Dec. 17 update. Nothing gets play-tested, nothing works. Whats happening here. . .

Just wait til Season of Dawn ends and next season begins and you will see tremendous increase in bugs..... just remember I said it here first.

7 RespuestasHere is a fun fact...... There hasn't been ONE update since D2 launched which didn't have major bugs. Either people couldn't login, guns were broken, quests didn't work, abilities broken, etc....... What's worse is that bungo doesn't get better with each release. It's just getting worse. The below are laughable at this point. 1. Matchmaking - Broken, to say it nicely 2. Lag - P2P is trash 3. Load times -- What the hell is up with the 60 second black screen before each match? 4. RNG -- Trash 5. Power levels - No incentive to level 6. Armor 2.0 -- Total fail As a whole the game is not as much fun to play. They have constant network issues, matches start with missing team members who probably lag out in flight, constantly being thrown into landslide matches in progress, quests not updating properly, broken missions, bugs, etc...... The only thing updated and working properly is everse. That says a lot.

1 RespuestaThey could give two ucks about their game... they cannot even figure out how to do away with that annoying white screen!!!
-
3 RespuestasEven the UI seems laggy now (not just slow but actually laggy)
-
27 RespuestasSorry about the issues. We just issued a Hotfix to address some of the issues including the Dynamo mod and Forsaken Campaign.

2 RespuestasDo any of you have any idea how complex the coding is for a game like Destiny 2? Do you realize what is happening at every moment of live match based play algorithmically speaking? How much code play is going on literally ever step your toon takes? Times the number of live players on simultaneously on different continents? And you complain about a blinking eververse symbol... your tears are delicious you ignorant troglodyte.

Editado por Farticus: 12/17/2019 4:23:28 PMThis post accomplished nothing, maybe mention actual bugs like you mention in the title instead of filling the body text with pure whining

Well, when your publisher leaves (which should have been red flags to everyone) the money goes with them, and now we are seeing what the game is like on a smaller budget. Eververse is just a go fund me page for Destiny. The future of this game is relying on the success of eververse.

5 RespuestasPull your head out of your ass. If you think game design is that easy, then go make your own game so everyone can laugh at you.
-
They are really pissing me off this season
-
8 RespuestasWhats crazy is that Digital Extremes (the makers of Warframe) have made an almost flawless game that is truly f2p and has at least 100 times more customization than this game and up until this latest expansion had almost no issues, and even now with the few that it has had they were all over it and have fixed pretty much everything that was wrong very quickly. So how come a much larger studio with so much less inventory to keep up with cant get it right?

This is what happens when you pull the core focus of the company away from the current game and move it over to the new IP. They just aren't putting man hours on play testing, we're paying to be beta testers in a way. A glitch here and there would be understandable. I don't expect companies to be perfect. But this just looks like they didn't even bother going beyond making sure the game didn't crash.

And Telesto is the besto again for the 213543185138 time :)
-
4 RespuestasDon't forget, Telesto is broken. Yet. Again.
-
I have to agree, feels like the game is falling apart.
-
enjoy PixeL you make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but,Omnigul is the last of Crota's generals. She is the architect of her master's wakening. As long as she lives, the threat of Crota's return will haunt this world. Track her down, and exterminate every Hive that stands in your way.

This is the award winning support team at work lol

Apparently, even re-skinning content is hard.

Good thing they took away that unstoppable perk from symmetry! Phew!

1 RespuestaTypical Bungo QC / ineptitude / lack of talent. When a game is driven by people who have no idea what they want the game to be, other than a greed based dress sim, what can you realistically expect?
-
3 Respuestas
Maybe focus on writing correct lines of code, instead of writing recipes in cookbooks.
Something tells me that those aren't the same departments at all. And man, if you think D2 is buggy after a patch, never play a major MMO like WoW. Every time there's a big patch things break spectacularly, to an extent Destiny's never gotten. It's part and parcel of live service games: no amount of testing can anticipate what happens when code gets out in the wild and starts interacting with console and PC builds. Shit just goes nuts. For a bunch of people who go on about being gamers, you guys seemingly don't know shit about gaming.
-
2 RespuestasLol, you should see the state BL3 is in right now!! It's almost amusing!
-
To be fair, more and more things are getting buggy. You should see how many areas of the south are getting infested with tiny ants - just like post-TTK Bungie programming. Well, greed and minimal infrastructure outlay, like Shared server tier worldwide, add quite a bit to the diminishing returns equation. But hey, as long as the owners get even more filthy rich.
-
Probably have to wait until next year for some of these bugs to get fixed. EDZ obelisk seems to be bugged as well.

Most of the devs probably have potato qualifications
