Keep wish ender bug
For those who dont know, wish ender is currently dealing 4x damage in PVE. From what ive seen and from playing with it, the bug does not seem to effect PVP as it is still a 2 hit kill on full health targets, just like before the bug was introduced.
Currently the 4x damage basically makes it a primary ammo sniper and allows it to 1 hit most shielded red bars, even in 980 activates. Seeing as how we have fighting lion which takes primary ammo and Cerberus +1, which with its catalyst basically become a primary shotgun I don't think this is really a problem. Also its long draw time and slower reload, for a bow, keeps it from being too OP. Given that this is one of the longer and tougher quest exotics, I feel like its deserving of this high damage love, since pre-bug wish ender didn't really have a place since there are way better crucible bows and way better Pve bows.

4 Respuestasplayed against 4 guys using it and lost even had 20 guardian kills, Every time I invaded and killed them all when they respawned and all shot wish ender with well and titan Buble then melted it before gate reopens. I keep it then block from the gambit period. truth is I think all exotics weapons need block from gambit to make it balanced because if nerf one guy and another one take it place.

It’s finally at a par with guns now please don’t fix knowing now they understand it will be fixed pitty if they do bows are finally good again

it definitely needs to be toned down a little, boss damage should be reduced and major damage a bit, bit I think it should retain some of this power

Crazy bow bug with 4x damage As awesome as that sounds I really don’t see people using it and when I do it’s far from game breaking. I’ve yet to even use the weapon but it’s a heavily underused exotic that honestly seems like it’s earned a threshold it now has. If you must fix the bug at least take the chance to buff its damage

Gambit hasn't been this fun in a long time (and I'm a Gambit enthusiast). While it can make the matches extremely lopsided if you go in with a coordinate group, it's still fun to see which team comes out on top when both have 2+ Wish-Enders right now. Unfortunately, because it's also bleeding over into pure PvE content/"endgame" (980 Nightfalls, etc), it's going to get fixed sooner rather than later. All you can do is enjoy it while it's here.

2 RespuestasIn the original Vidoc, bungie showed off the wall hack and a OHK double down in pvp when the arrow went through the head of the first and also critted the second. That was obviously a lie, it is actually underwhelming and I didnt touch it since getting all over the eggs for Cursebreaker done. I used it yesterday and its actually decent for a change. Izagnami's Burden still out performs it. I say leave it.

In order for it to keep this utterly ridiculous damage output (don’t get me wrong I’ve been having a blast with it) they need to change it to be the first bow to use special ammo

Everything we enjoy in PvE get's nerfed, like everything fun and enjoyable. I think they don't like the metrics of the weapon diversity usages, they force you to use different weapon rather the one you like since it's illegal playing with a gun that was easy or hard to get. There is a question I must ask, if the majority of players like that weapon because of reasons, do they need to nerf it because it was OP ? Or nerf it because they want you to use different weapons. Then another question appears, why is this a loot game ? LE: Since the bug, who used Wish-Ender , a bow, as a kinetic weapon ? No one, most of the weapons we have are in inventory rusting because of nerfs (Especially the ones that are hard to get)

Nah, maybe double damage but not 4x. It's broken, it does as much as special ammo right now. It would be fine if it used special ammo and did that much, but that's basically turning it into a D1 Queenbreaker. I think bows and QB are both out of whack right now really. QB needs to be special slot with more ammo capacity than a sniper and bows just need better compensation for the low firing rate.

Whoever thinks this is ok as is... Stop using it as a crutch. Its ruining gambit right now. When you go against a squad using wish ender, if your not all using it, it's a complete wash. It's insane how many people liked a broken weapon.

And to do that, we need to remove the bandage. In case you don't get it, I'm referring to the current strength of bows as a whole. If they need a buff, fix the bug and just buff bows.
