What’s a good mystery/thriller anime?
I love those type of shows/movies where you’re on the edge of your seat.
I’ve already seen Death Note and Steins;Gate. I tried Bungo Stray Dogs, the goofy anime comic relief sounds took me out of the more serious themes.
I wanna try BoogiePoP and maybe Durarara.

I watched the first episode of 91 Days and BoogiePop and Others. Both are really interesting, will probably watch them both.

I wondered why you put “cultured” in quotes.

4 RespuestasBoogiepop Phantom is good! I highly recommend the anime adaptation of Naoki Urusawa's manga, Monster. It's probably the best series I've watched. I'm sure people who don't watch anime would enjoy it if they were open to the medium. I haven't found any series, animated or live action, as good as Monster.

Higurashi When They Cry. It's a pretty graphic and violent anime, but the mystery behind the plot is pretty nice. Erased is also a pretty good anime that's mystery and thriller.
