Seriously bungie how dense can you guys possibly be. You’ve had not one, not two but eight chances to improve but whenever something is looking good you guys go the completely opposite direction from what we want.
We said we wanted meaningful progression on armor and you gave us that and we worked hard to masterwork it to only be told SURPRISE! It’s irrelevant now go and get some more.
Or maybe eververse for example how that seems to get all the items in a season meanwhile actual content is minimal. Not even mentioning the price of stuff in there. £15 for an armor set that’s 1 1/2 of a season that’s insane.
I just don’t get how you take one step forward and six steps back every single opportunity you get. It would be nice to log into destiny and not be bashed round the head with “HEY GUYS EVERVERSE, HEY GUYS LOOK AT THIS SWEET SPARROW YOU WANT IT DONT YOU?” “Don’t miss out because you’ll never see it again and if you don’t have it you’ll feel terrible when the season ends.”
I know what your doing bungie and in any other industry it would be classed as predatory.
Don’t know if any of this makes sense but I’m so frustrated I’ve played destiny for five years and it’s pains me to see it in a decline. I guess bungie just doesn’t care anymore and this shows.

I want my money back. I know ill never get it but the point being this game now sucks. I just started playing again after years of avoidance and had fallen in love again with it to find you are once again destroying it. Its bullshit and I'm sick of it. You are worse than the call of duty franchise

23 RespuestasWhen you say '' WE.'' who are you speaking for exactly? If you are to make a serious argument as to why this title is having issues you disagree with, they have to be YOUR opinions. Not the speculatory generalizations of the masses. Thanks.

4 RespuestasHasn't the best / most replayable content come from other studios before they split from Activision?

1 RespuestaThe biggest problem with the game is the leadership. Everything comes from that and I don't get one hint of enthusiasm or passion from the likes of Luke Smith, this was the guy that said "we would throw money at the screen" when Taken King launched and here we are .. Eververse is the bottom line and everything else suffers. I watched the Season of the Dawn reveal and had to smile at the guy with the lion jacket, he did the lore tabs and was genuinely enthusiastic. Breath of fresh air. The game is driven by the lore and someone like that needs to be in charge. This guy wrote the Perfect Paradox lore tab among others and as we have seen with the recent lore tab about Uldren its brilliantly written. Let him drive the game forward, ten quid says he has far more knowledge about what the game is actually about than Luke Smith. We all love this game, or to be more accurate what it could be, and it needs to be driven by enthusiastic people like that lad or its just going to be bean countered to death.

7 RespuestasHere's a fun game: try to find one part of this season that isn't suffering from at least one bug. Because everything from physics, to the UI - to the bloody game settings, are all bugged and broken. But hey, eververse works fine!

16 RespuestasEditado por name: 12/12/2019 12:52:00 PMi given up on this franchise at this point or any new future bungie IP , destiny2 proved they are not capable to make a good game anymore (like Halo's and D1) after all the important employees left

1 RespuestaI really enjoy how the addicts and the brainwashed sheeple defend the microtransactions in this game. Its paid content. Its a $60 game if you bought Dattokeep + seasons. These microtransactions are EA levels of egregious. Its ridiculous. They're overpriced, intrusive and Eververse is the only vendor that gets updated every season. Bungie made $300 million off of microtransactions in 2019. Judging by what we've seen in the season pass, that money isn't going back into the game.

It’s a great time to take a break from this game

6 RespuestasThis season is the perfect proof that they simply do not care

7 RespuestasBungie is no longer making Destiny for the average gamer. They are no building and balancing Destiny for the people who play Destiny for a living. That’s how, and why they -blam!-ed up.

1 RespuestaEditado por Coronavirus: 12/13/2019 1:05:27 AMThe Game is nothing more than to extend its lifetime by making you grind over and over again Now go on guardians... go and beat that dead horse

Oh look a new DLC dropped with new armor in a looter shooter... uh oh, I may have to farm and do the samething over and over again 🤷♂️🤦♂️
-
When it’s pyjama day every day at the studio this is what you get. A circular loop with no progression and a full reset every 90 days. Your time invested in the game doesn’t translate to anything meaningful going forward. You’re basically just doing nothing when you play D2 and after 90 days you’ve gotten nowhere.
-
Forsaken and season of opulence were 9/10 and the rest is really below average unless you bulk play it.

11 RespuestasSerious question- how, exactly, is our 'old' armor irrelevant now? I love the stats on my master worked armor and those pieces are still better than any of the new armor I have gotten so far. So I just can't agree with you, at least until I hear your reasoning for why our old gear is irrelevant. And yes, Eververse is (and will forever be) one of the worst cash grabs I have ever seen.

1) It's strange to see so many people upset so quickly after a content release. 2) Don't beat me up, but I'm having fun doing the pinnacle weapons and playing. Not saying it's perfect, but I think play it if you enjoy it or take a break. I don't think Bungie listens until people stop playing. 3) PVE - I didn't play much last season. I have a hard time sorting through all the crap and wasting resources upgrading when I know that by the time I'm ready for Master-level stuff the season will be over. Although this season might be better if they keep everything at 980. Maybe I'll have time. 4) The pinnacle weapons are way faster to get this season. That's good right. 5) At first, I hated the idea of having less content drop more often. And if you compare it to the end of D1, then it seems substantially smaller. Which makes you wonder if they are not just milking Destiny to pay for the next great looter-shooter? I figure give it a week or 2 and see if I'm back sitting in orbit wondering what is worth doing. I feel like they are making a lot of good content. What is broken is the "replay-ability". Looter-shooters need a loot pool worthy of the time spent. 6) FOMO needs to go. I want to do what I want to do. All thigh limiting resources, time-gating, etc. needs to stop. If they want to have old content turn into a weekend or weekly events that's fine to me. Destiny the game that changed gaming to a standard even they cannot keep.

5 RespuestasSo glad i did not buy this season . feels good to be free of the whole thing.
-
Great post and you're 100 percent correct. Sadly I doubt anyone from Bungie will comment on it. All they are now are scam artists, and I bought in, literally.

1 RespuestaAfter we examined the game . We have to come to a conclusion and discovered the cause of death . Mercury Poisoning ! Our lead suspect Luke Smith . If you see him don’t approach , he is highly contagious and will transfer bad ideas to you and attempt to lead you off the nearest cliff !
-
2 RespuestasAs soon as they said “Mercury” Y1 players knew for certain......
-
round and round bungo goes...how bad will they mess up destiny...no body knows.
-
4 RespuestasOh theres more to come. Expect at least 2 more seasons like this until bungie makes a triumphant return next year with forsaken 2 to get our money again.
-
Every armor, including exotic armor, should have an extra universal mod slot for seasonal mods and raid mods. I’m not re-grinding armor sets again since it’s so hard to get good stats and the affinity you want. I will just miss out on seasonal mods. Probably won’t be getting the season pass next season. I was hoping for a bit more flexibility but Bungie has dropped the ball once again.
-
Is anyone shocked? This is what Bungie does, this is what an average company does. Just stop expecting anything good, expect a yard sale each time and you’ll rarely be disappointed.
-
The exotic scout was a nice addition, versatile as hell
