I remember a fun conversation I had with somebody. So, the question is should I jump back into Destiny now and buy everything?
The conditions?
-Money cannot be the arguement. Assume it has no factor.
-Give an explanation that is more than "tis' game sux"
Let the demons sleep for now, be logical.
-let's go off from where I left off, I stopped at mid season of the drifter. What good has come of it, what has been bad?
Type as long as you want, became unlike "them" I listen to it's entire. Cross your "i"'s and dot your "t"'s.
Oh and thanks!

1 RespuestaYour thread is redundant if you aren't worried about the cost of the DLC's.

1 RespuestaChode poll achieved

1 RespuestaNo, do not buy all the tiers.
Also

Big Penis Poll
I would wait until next Tuesday to but because this season is about to end and you won’t be able to enjoy the “content” that is being removed. The forsaken and Shadowkeep content is interesting lore wise and is really good fun and the forsaken seasonal content is worth a glance over too. The PvP is a bit meh in my opinion but I have always seen that as an add on rather than a core part of the game. Definitely worth a look at if you are interested in the lore.

should I make an attention seeking post asking if I should spend $100 on cosmetics, which I'm obviously not going to buy?

I quit about the same time as you. I came back maybe six weeks ago just to play something different that I was currently playing and with New Light out just to see if I could get back into it. I bought Shadowkeep about a week after that and am still playing quest to get caught up from the other past seasons along with the little stuff left for this dlc. I would suggest coming back on and testing new light and seeing if you have it in you to continuing playing. There is new stuff you get to do with not getting Shadowkeep but if you like to raid then you might want to get it. As of that I’ve have been enjoying it I don’t play 8 hrs a day 7 days a week and when I get burnt out I just stop all together which is part of the reason I quite when I did which to be fair I did the same thing in destiny 1 a couple of times. If you want any more information just let me know there is more I can say this is just the start. I would definitely make my own decision on it. It’s your own preference and what you like that matters. Whether you like it hate it it’s your opinion that matters to you enjoy what you want.

Jump back in next season, don’t buy theirs unless you got a bunch of money to burn.

Oh and thanks!
Only if you want to play a game that's basically another job that requires you to Farm gear and weapons that doesn't make you any stronger or powerful than any enemies you face (Just less Weak). You can go and play the very first mission of the game and you will not be any stronger than the enemies. Also, if you want to play a game where the dev's and Game Director are COMPLETELY tone deaf to what the community wants, and then gives no explanation why the changes everyone asks for can't be done (ie Vendor Refresh, new iron banner weapons, permanent factions, new strike specific loot, warlock melee speed increase, trials, making solstice armor able to be used as ornaments, ect). If you want to play a game where the only vendor that gets updated is the vendor where you have to spend actual money on, if you want to play a game where dev's can't make challenging content so they nerf your damage output to artificially make the game challenging. Then yes this is the game for you.

2 RespuestasDepends if you have fun doing the same stuff over and over again. And yeah special weapons in pvp are still cheap tho :’D. Still p2p connections. I for myself still love destiny to the fullest. All I can say is, just dont play to much to get burned out and rage on the forums :’D.

2 RespuestasSomeone got a bit of FOMO?

1 RespuestaHere is the thing. I would certainly not spend 100$ for the season pass track, regardless of how much money I have. Look at the rewards, you get the plasticity ornaments which are nice and thats pretty much that. I mean yea theres 3 Ascendant Shards and a couple of exotic engrams but those can be gotten in the game. Knowing Bungie they might even add the plasticity set for sale in Eververse at some point, and its certainly not gonna be 100$. If you wanna get back in just get SK, theres a few good guns in there. The Season of Undying loot is worthless.

1 RespuestaEditado por DredLaP: 12/4/2019 3:19:58 PMNot if you are just going to leave again.
-
If you are going to buy shadowkeep just wait a week and buy it when the new season starts buying $100 worth of tiers is simply just not worth it unless you have a crap load of disposable income
-
2 Respuestasyes. pay $100 dollars + $40 for expansion and season.
-
4 RespuestasDecide for yourself. You cant let the community decide for you.
-
The only big things are the armor ornaments and the Eriana's Vow stuff. That aside, you're really not missing out on anything super major by not having the season pass. You can enjoy D2 just fine without it.
-
3 RespuestasWhat tiers?
-
Just start fresh next season.
-
Nah not worth the money

1 RespuestaThat's a weird two-sided question. For one, you ask us to come back(?) And the second question, which basically has nothing to do with the first part, in my eyes: should you buy the rewards? Well, it depends on you. First part of the question requires deeper research. Knowing why you left in the first place, might help with the second answer. Would buying all the stuff keep you playing further? Seeing the second part as a stand-alone question: if you absolutely like the cosmetics, then yes, you should buy them. Because right now we can only assume that they will never be offered again and you woud certainy miss them out.

Oh and thanks!
I play because I enjoy the gunplay, concept and the lore. I no life it for days or weeks at a time then when content runs thin, I go mess with something else - yet I always find myself coming back. So to answer your question: No. No you shouldn’t jump back in, because if you need to be convinced by total strangers to enjoy a game, it’s not for you

Buy all the tiers on the season 8 but don't buy all for the 9 ^^
