Rare bounties are stupid
I have been grinding for 4 weeks always doing ada 1 bounties and not once has she given me a rare bounty. The worst part about this is its tied to izanagis burden
The second worst bit about this is that its completely rng I could be here again 5 weeks later. I'm not a big raid person my self the only reason i want this to to speedrun and get the title harbinger and bare in mind i could eventually get one and have it be do the raid in full gear

Aaaaaaaaaaand its gone.......waiting for another rare bounty... [spoiler]still my fault for not completing before dlc, but this is in my opinion just a little to much[/spoiler]

What does the Harbinger title have to do with the raid? You can get that without ever setting foot in the raid..

You should grind out all the gear anyway as you wait if you haven't already just in case you get the one that requires full weapons and armor.

Lol got my rare bounty after turning in 8 Daily Black Armory Bounties. Its all in the RNG. I got lucky though.

My only tip would be to stack up multiple ada bounties and turn them in all at once. I realize it’s pretty much the same as any other way to turn in the bounties, but it made me feel like it worked haha

Yeah the rare bounties were always trash. From the time I got my first bounties from Ada back at the start of Season of the Forge I never got a rare bounty (note that I completed all dailies and weekly from her each week on at least 1 character usually 2). I didn't get a rare bounty from her until half way through Season of Opulence. It's complete bs when you lock a quest and make it so you need to complete a bounty that's locked behind such horrible rng where it can take months or even seasons before one drops.

Complete RNG for one of the best exotics in the game, while the quest itself is already quite frustrating already, even more so with Shadowkeep's time gated armory rotations. I'm not sure who put a monkey in charge of game design but it's terrible.Just hope you don't grind long enough to get burnt out from the game itself.

I am the worst kind of person to say this but the rare bounty dropped after I completed my 3rd bounty. It was the complete 6 forges bounty. My friend has been trying as long as you, needless to say he was thrilled for me 😜.

Yeah man, 4 weeks wasting my time doing Ada's bounties daily X3 characters, hours and hours wasted for nothing. Thing is, once you max the modulus things, the bounties give you nothing, like nothing at all.

I think you have to have the Glowhoo shader equipped for it to drop 👍

I had a rare bounty sitting in my inventory. Never bothered to complete it. Then I started the quest and was so happy I never bothered to do the rare bounty.

Down to its bones. You have to accept it or reject it or else this will make you dissatisfied all the time. It’s not a hobby, it’s a full time job with mandatory overtime that pays you in lottery tickets.

Yes I would agree it’s not the most exciting having rng linked to it, but it kept me logging in and farming them bounties because I really wanted the gun. As much of a pain that it is I think it’s better than just handing them out easy like Bad Juju or completely rng like Monte Carlo. Ideally exotic would be all be obtained with a missions like Outbreak and Whisper but this quest isn’t the worst.

I always got my rare bounties when I spammed handing in her normal/daily ones. Not exactly scientific, but it generally worked for me. Good luck in your search mate 👍

I think i waited for 3-4 weeks and mine finally dropped last week. I had to have black armoury weapons equipped in each slot. It was so easy to complete! Lol.. now I need to conplete the Shattered throne. I soloed up the the orge and gave up!

Are you doing the weekly bounties as well? If not, do so. I think they have a higher drop chance.

1 RespuestaAnd even when you get them they vary greatly. The first I ever got (Macro Field Evaluation) took ages.. 8 public events, 6 patrols, 3 strikes, heroic adventure and 3 matches in gambit or crucible. Then I got another one a couple of weeks later that literally was 'throw 50 batteries at forge to ignite it'. That took only 3 forges.

I'll say it again. This quest step should be made to auto complete. There is no place for RNG in a quest much less one as grindy as this one. Unacceptable. Not sure why bungie refuses to have this auto complete.

Try building frames as well. I pretty much got 2 rare quests in 3 days. Maybe I was lucky.

Forge bounties on all 3 characters and did the quest for the exotic I got the rare bounty on which happened to be my titan, maybe try more than one char? Gl

Do the dailies and then spam them by turning them all in at once. Some people like me have found the method to be more helpful when trying to obtain one. It's not guaranteed, though.
