Shadowkeep didn't have much to do. Not much new gear to chase. Bungie better have some MASSIVE things in place for next season cuz if they don't this game is going to be as dead as Anthem. The game is already dead but it still has enough players to function.

I think we're past that and downhill.

I'm actually playing a different game for the first time since D1 beta. Although I've got some gamer points this month - I'd forgotten what they were.
-
I said this weeks ago, if this next season isn't stellar then we'll see curse numbers once again. That could actually kill the game.
-
And d3. Cause if this is the best they got at this point in D2 I'll definitely pass on a 3.

There is no D3 dude, a new game releasees in 2024, non destiny, big triple A title. It's impossible for them to even think about D3

Yea I'm gonna call bullshit on you

There's literally 50 different articles on this

I am not going to bother entertaining you because regardless what they are referring to is some bs Chinese marketed game which has been known since before Bungie split. It won't effect destiny in the slightest nor the release of destiny 3. I suggest to you study PR tactics and basic business management and capitalism.

I suggest you play the game you're defending like a naive puppy. Adios

Kk bye bye baby troll -blam!-

Pete Parsons bungies CEO went on record a few weeks ago saying they're looking at life after destiny, they're working on a new non destiny triple A due for release in 2024. There's several interviews out there, I read it in Forbes but there's others. Same guy, on a BBC gaming show in 2014 spoke of life after destiny's 10 yr journey and said they'd just begun work on a new triple A title that would release once destiny ended. Now, they've admitted that D3 currently isn't on the agenda, Luke Smith confirmed this, n theyd have to build it from scratch. D1 took them 7 years to build, D2 took 3 but they used many assets from the D1 build, and had 1000 staff and 2 extra studios, so prob 1500 staff built D2. They now have just 600, most of whom are working in this new title. Not only would they have to build D3 with 900 less people, but for 2 extra platforms, and do all the marketing in 50 countries, and with no financial backing. Then there's the Luke Smith comment if D2 having 3-5 years left, the intended picture of the whiteboard at bungie showing D2 year 7, that just so happens to coincide with the new games expected release 2024. It's highly highly likely that the destiny franchise wraps up in 2024, if not earlier given current player numbers. Much depends on how much people spend

I could care less about what PR comes out of this company and so should you. Don't sit there and think they don't have the financial backing for this because they do. It's what all the dlc and eververse equals out to, which I assure you is millions. Bungie is not going to abandon their cash cow. It would also be impossible to maintain releasing content towards this game for another 4 to 5 years. The consoles can barely handle what's been released so far. There will be a destiny 3 and your an idiot to think otherwise. "Luke smith" has trolled the community many times and all that other bullshit is just PR. It's like when blizzard denied Diablo 4 and then a year later announced it...

Destiny isn't a cash cow. Hasn't been for a long time. Activision dropped them because they weren't making enough money. Bungie's implementation of Eververse front and center is a clear indication that the game isn't making enough money. F2P is a clear indication that the future of the franchise is just maintenance and recycled seasonal updates because there isn't enough profit in continued development. They stopped releasing their financials and data over the game. D3 isn't happening. It was only ever a rumor. Industry knows Bungie is working on other future projects NOT Destiny. The game will continue to be indefinitely supported. But recycled temporary seasonal content and massive MTX is all there is for now on. You're assumption is based on what again?
-
Would you care to post some proof and not just words pulled from your ass? It wasn't making enough money by activations standard. Greed was the problem as well as internal fighting between Bungie and activision. Eververse has ALWAYS been front and center and will continue to be when stupid people continue to buy shit from it. D3 will happen and again your stupid just like the other person if you think it isn't.
